Chapter 27: Confessions
Ahsoka Tano's POV
"What is going on!" Ahsoka yelled as she came out of the cockpit, into the main cabin after entering the ship into hyperspace. Before her sat Rex, Sabine and Bo Katan. She looked over at Sabine who she guessed would have some idea as to what was going on since she was the closest to Kanan out of the four.
"Kanan thinks your working for Vader..." Sabine started but was interrupted.
"Vader?!?" Rex asked. "Does he even realise how many times Ahsoka has saved his life!"
"That's what I tried to tell him but he wouldn't listen. He made the assumption that since you wouldn't tell anyone where you had been the past three months, that you had turned. I tried to talk him out of it but he was bent on taking you in and don't even get me started on how he thought you were the reason Zeb died." Sabine said pacing back and forth in the tiny cabin.
"Wait Zeb's dead?" Ahsoka gasped
"His body showed up at the front of the base this morning. No one knows how or who did it." Sabine said.
"Alright...we'll sort everything out when he land but for now, Rex come with me to the cockpit. We need to figure out where we are gonna land this pile of junk." Ahsoka said as the two headed off to the cockpit leaving Mother and Daughter alone.
Darth Sidious' POV
"The last time I saw Tano was on Mandalore. She was with that clone and Mandalorian girl. They escaped before your troopers could catch them." Maul blurted out after the tremendous pain he had suffered from Sidious' Sith lightening. "I tried to regain power on Mandalore because I knew that the Mandalorian girl would contact Tano due to their former alliance at the end of the Clone Wars. I thought I could capture her and extract the information from her but then you gentlemen intervened." Maul finished.
"What makes you so certain she even knows the location of Kenobi?" Sidious asked as he watched Vader cut off one of Maul's horns from his head. There a few moments of screaming but then the red and black Zabrak finally looked up at his former master.
"There's a lot that happened in that Temple on Malachor that you would neither know or understand." Maul snarled.
"He's not lying Master. I can sense it" Vader remarked.
Sidious was thinking of how to capture the Torguta when Barriss came up behind him and leaned over his shoulder.
"What exactly did you need me for my Lord?" She asked, nerves evident in her voice. Sidious tuned around so he was directly facing her. Barriss back up a little, clearly intimidated by him.
"I was going to discuss your betrayal with you and in case you don't get what I'm referring to I mean the one where you accepted Vader's mission without telling me but now that we are at a dead end on how to find Tano, I have use for you." Sidious exclaimed. He then proceeded to shoot torrents of force lightening at her with a mad cackle raging from his mouth.
Bo Katan's POV
Bo waited until Ahsoka and Rex had left the room to face Sabine. She had definitely grown up compared to when Bo had last seen her daughter. Before she could even speak, Sabine spoke up.
"Don't even try to apologise Mum. I mean that's IF you were going to apologise, you see I never know what your going to do" Sabine said with an attitude and a raised eyebrow which Bo knew was never a good sign coming from her daughter.
"How many times do I have to explain that Gar Saxon knew what I was up to and I had to deal with him. You don't think I wanted to go a rescue you? Of course I did! But that scum bag had been spying in on our communications for months! He knew everything Sabine. He knew that you were only in the Imperial Academy to spy on them." Bo tried to explain.
"I was captured by the Empire and tortured for WEEKS. And do you wanna know what I was thinking the whole time?" Sabine paused for a moment watching as her mum stood her ground. "I was wondering weather or not you were ok! But then Korki broke me out and I found out that you were now the Viceroy of Mandalore along side Saxon. So don't you EVER tell me you had to 'deal' with him." Sabine yelled.
"The only reason I became Viceroy with him was so that I could keep up the charade of being on the Empires side. I cried every night when I found out you had been captured. I was so worried for you Sabine. But then a few years later when Ahsoka contacted me and told me that you part of the rebellion and were working in her cell...I knew i couldn't do it any longer. I broke off from Saxon and worked as a rebel cell on Mandalore. Sabine I understand why your angry but you have to forgive me." Bo begged.
Sabine just stared at her mother but sat back down when Ahsoka and Rex re-entered the room.
Hope you all like the Sabine and Bo situation. Next chapter there is gonna be a Rex and Ahsoka conversation what gives some more details on to what Ahsoka was doing in the three months she was gone.
