Chapter 6 - Baby Bottle (1/???)
The day begun at the cottage.
Y/N explained to Elder Kettle that they HAD an encounter with the Devil
Elder Kettle wasn't happy Y/N, Cuphead and Mugman "chose to go" to Carnival, which ended up The Devil's trap
But what could he do now?
All Elder Kettle could do is warn Y/N and the brothers, especially Y/N and Cuphead, that thry must avoid the Devil
But back to what was happening right now
Inside the house, Elder Kettle is seen leaving the kitchen in a seemingly good mood
Well, not after finding out what happened to the boys at Carnival, or better aay, Carn-Evil
He was leaving the boys alone
Why?
- Well, it's that time again, boys! - Elder Kettle sprinkled food into the fish bowl, and walked into the boys playing marbles, or, better say, Cuphead and Mugman were playing them, Y/N was at the entrance door, ready to open it - I'm off to my weekly mustache wax! - he flicksed his mustache, Y/N opened the door for him - Now, remember, two rules while I'm gone. Number one, don't touch my radio.
Cuphead, Mugman and Y/N looked at the Radio
Y/N, of course, became confused
- Why? - he asked Elder Kettle - Is it special for you or something?
- You got it right, Y/N, my boy - Elder Kettle confirmed - It is my most prized object after all. - then said, meaning the brothers - And of course, rule number two: No fighting!
Y/N wanted to close the door after him, but Elder Kettle reacted faster
He shut the door, briefly checked inside, to make sure the boys won't start fighting, then left officially
And only Elder Kettle left, at that exact moment, Cuphead and Mugman started to fight
- I guess you're doing it everyday? - Y/N asked them
- That's right - Cuphead and Mugman answered in unison and continued to fight each other
Their fight was bubble crashing into things.
However, once they were near the radio, they paused and anxiously moved around it.
On this moment, fear of what can happen to them if the Radio will be broken, was shown
Then, they continued their fighting, until...
- HOLD IT! - Mugman exclaimed and his and Cuphead's was stopped - Say, Cuphead; Why are we fighting again?
- Uhh, 'cause we're not supposed to? - was the answer-question from his brother
- Right!
The two continued to fight
- How can Elder Kettle handle you two like that everyday, I don't understand - Y/N told them, shaking his head left and right
That's when knocking was hears at the door.
The brothers stopped fighting and quickly started to play the innocent boys, who did nothing wrongand who weren't breaking the rules seconds ago
Y/N was aaking himself at the same time:
- "How could Elder Kettle return so quickly?"
As soon as the door was opened, Cuphead and Mugman were now having Halos over their heads
- Back so soon, dearest kettle?
But surprisingly for them and Y/N, in front of them instead of Elder Kettle was...
A little basket, with a note inside. The brothers took it and read it together:
- Please take care of baby.
At first all three were confused
Y/N even asked:
- Baby?
They lowered the note to find a cooing baby inside the basket.
It looked cute, but...
Something was telling Y/N something is DEAD wrong with this baby
And it starts with the fact it's a Baby Bottle and it appeared, was left in front of the brothers' and Elder Kettle's home, out of nowhere
- Uh... Guys? - Y/N started - Something tells me we can't take care of baby...
But Cuphead and Mugman were already charmed by Baby Bottle and asked, shocked:
- What?!/Why you think so?!
