I was angry, I didn't want to even think about Jaiden right now.
I got a text from one of my friends talking about this big party that everyone's going to.
I huffed and stuffed my phone in my pocket. The last thing I wanted to do is go partying.
I decided to go take a walk to calm myself down.
I was walking for a good 30 minutes when I heard someone hollering behind me.
"Hey! Hey! You!".
I turned around to see a girl.
"Uh hey",I said confused at her relations with me.
"Uh you umm, you dropped this",she said awkwardly handing me my house keys.
"Oh thank you, they must of fell out of my pocket",I said grabbing them from her.
She was really pretty, she had brown shoulder length hair, and light blue eyes.
"No problem",she said as she started walking off.
"Uh wait",I said hesitantly.
She stopped and turned around.
"I know his may be weird but do you wanna maybe......go get a smoothie with me?",I asked.
"You gotta tell me your name first stranger",she said with a smirk filled smile.
"My names Matt",I said sticking my hand out for a handshake.
"Leslie",she said shaking my hand.
Before I knew it Leslie and I were drinking our smoothies at a two person table.
"So are you in school",I asked her.
"Umm yes actually, I'm in college",she stated.
"Oh, do you go to one of the ones down here?",I asked.
"No, I'm just down here for spring break. What about you are you in school?".
I shook my head, "Nope, I'm sorta kinda what people would call 'famous'",I said lightly.
"Whatever",Leslie said unbelievably.
"I'm being serious",I laughed pulling out my phone and showing her all of my social medias,including my YouTube channel filled with my tour videos.
"Wow!",she said amazed.
I then got an idea, "Are you busy tonight?".
"No I'm actually not",leslie smiled.
"Well would you like to go to a party with me?".
"Sure, I mean it is spring break",she shrugged.
"Great, just give me your number and I'll come pick you up".
She put her number in my phone before we exchanged our goodbyes and left.
I was more than ready for tonight.
Maybe this could be the start to getting over Jaiden.
