"Matt!matt!matt!matt!maaaaaatt",Jaiden chanted hitting my arm excitedly as soon as I opened my front door.
"What?what?what?what?whaaaat?",I mimicked her.
"You're never going to guess what happened",she squealed.
"Well tell me",I laughed.
She went and took a seat on my couch calming herself down.
I sat down next to her.
"Well....Derek is my boyfriend",she smiled widely.
The world around me stopped, I saw this coming but I still wasn't ready for it.
"O-oh....well congrats Jai",I said smiling lightly.
She then jumped up off the couch and began pacing the room ranting to me about how excited she was.
I watched her but I didn't hear much of what she was saying with my mind being somewhere far from where hers was.
~1 month later~
This had easily been one of the worst months of my life.
I barley see Jaiden anymore, she's always with Derek.
And when I do see her it's only for a short period of time.
I try to make plans with her but she either cancels for Derek or she already had plans with Derek.
Even our fans noticed that we haven't been together anymore.
I decided to take the chance and go see what Jaiden was doing today.
I reached her house and knocked on her door.
"Coming",I heard her call from inside the house.
The door opened and Jaiden stood in front of me smiling.
I looked down at my feet, I don't think I've ever felt this awkward around her.
"Uh hey,Matthew",Jaiden spoke.
I forced my self to look at her, "Can I come in".
"Umm, sure. Is everything okay?",she asked me.
I shrugged, "Yeah I guess".
"Matt what's wrong?".
I stayed silent for a second, "So are you busy today?",I subject changed.
"Uh, well yeah. Derek and I are about to go to the movies",she said awkwardly.
I would have usually felt sad, but instead anger built up inside of me.
"Of course",I scoffed.
"I'm sorry",she sighed.
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever",I said walking to the door.
"Why are you so mad about this?",she stopped me.
I turned back to her, "Because Jaiden, I'm tired of you putting a guy who is just using you before your bestfriend",I shouted.
"He's not using me",she yelled back.
"Open your eyes, he wanted nothing to do with you until you became famous".
I could tell she was taken back for a moment by the way she slowly sat down on the couch.
But I wasn't sure if it was because of what I said, or because she's never heard me yell at her.
"I don't need to hear your opinion on my relationship when you haven't even been in one since freshman year",she said said coldly.
"I haven't been in one because I'm in lo",I quickly stopped myself from saying what I've been holding back for so long.
"I'm just going to go",I said before walking out and slamming the door.
