Jaidens mom and aunt went to bed so just me, Jaiden, Brendon and Ashton were up.
We were sitting around a fire just listing to music and talking.
Jaiden let out a long yawn stretching her arms out, "Are you tired?",I asked her.
She's nodded, "yeah, I think I'm gonna go to bed",she said wrapping the blanket around herself and standing up off the fold chair.
"Okay, goodnight beautiful",I told her.
She lightly smiled at me before walking over to the tent and climbing into it.
I turned back to Brandon and Ashton. Brendon had a smile on his face.
"You two are cute",he laughed.
I shook my head and looked down at my feet.
"Wait...You and Jaiden are like a thing?",Aston asked surprised.
I shook my head, "We're just friends".
"So did Brendon say that cause you like her?".
"You're just now figuring this out!",Brendon exclaimed.
Ashton shrugged, "Yeah, I guess I am".
It was silent, I hated that Ashton knew about my feelings toward Jaiden because I knew he would tell her.
"You do know that she's way out of your league",Ashton said amused.
Of course I knew that.
I looked down at the ground.
"Don't listen to him, he doesn't know what he's talking about",Brendon said glaring at Ashton.
Ashton stood up and started making his way over to me, "Yes I do, and Matt knows it. We both know he has no chance with her".
He was now right in front of my chair.
It's like he was rubbing it in my face, like I already didn't know that I don't have a chance with her.
"Go sit back down",I said now irritated.
Ashton let out a short laugh, "Awe, is someone mad",he said in a baby voice.
"Dude just leave me alone",I said standing up so that I was even in height.
"I do what I want",he said cockily.
"Back off",I said shoving him as hard as I could.
I was surprised with my actions, I'm not the type to get violent.
He fell to the ground and seconds later he was holding his arm.
I immediately regretted pushing him.
Brendon leaped over to him and helped him up.
"I think my arms broken",he groaned.
"I'm so sorry, I-I didn't mean to",I stuttered.
"Just like I'm not going to mean to kick your",he started to say but Brendon got in between us.
"Guys stop, Jaiden is going to hate both of you if you fight".
A smirk plastered across Ashton's face, "You're right, now she'll only hate Matt when I tell her that he's the one who broke my arm".
"No ones going to say anything to Jaiden, now I'm going to go wake the adults so they can drive you to the hospital",Brendon said before running to their tent.
I went to wake Jaiden up from our tent.
And just like that we took a 30 minute drive to the hospital.
The moms were in the hospital room with Ashton. While Jaiden, Brendon and I were in the waiting room.
"How did he even manage to break his arm?",Jaiden questioned.
"Uh, well he....he was umm",Brendon started panicking.
"I pushed him",I spoke up.
They both turned to me.
Brendon shook his head probably thinking about how stupid I was.
"Why would you do that?",Jaiden questioned.
"Cause he wouldn't leave me alone".
Jaiden let out a sigh and I was prepared for her to either start yelling at me or give me the silent treatment.
"He had it coming",she shrugged.
Brendon and I both shot her a surprised look.
"You're not mad at me?",I asked.
She laughed as if my question was amusing, "No of course not".
I felt relief as I sunk into my chair.
"Hey Matt".
"Yes",I smiled over at her.
"I love youuu",she said messing up my hair.
I rolled my eyes patting my hair down, "I love you too".
