I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on my front door.
I groggily climbed out of bed to go answer it.
Jaiden stood there awkwardly.
"Uh hey",I chuckled.
"Hey, can I come in?",she asked.
I nodded and opened the door wider.
We went and sat down on my couch.
"So I wanted to apologize, I don't remember much about last night, but I do remember how I acted. I shouldn't have went to the party, but I was with Derek and I didn't want him to think I was a loser who doesn't party",she told me.
I wasn't mad at her in the first place. I could never be angry with her, I was just shocked.
"But you are a loser who doesn't party",I joked.
"So, he didn't know that. Point is, I really am sorry for scaring you like that".
I shrugged, "I'm just happy that you're okay".
She smiled lightly before leaning over to hug me.
I wrapped my arms around her and I didn't want to ever let go.
"Are you excited about the camping trip tomorrow",she suddenly exclaimed.
I nodded, "I already have my stuff packed".
"You should take Burnie with us again",she said.
"I'm sure I will",I said.
Jaiden nodded, "Well I better get going, Brendon's waiting for me out in the car. He has to be back at home in 15 minutes for his brodcast on younow",she groaned.
I chuckled, "Okay well I'll see you tomorrow, Do you want me to go and pick you two up in the morning to go to the airport?".
"Sure that would be great".
"Okay awesome, bye Jai",I said opening my arms to hug her.
"Bye Matt",she said hugging me back and quickly kissing my cheek before leaving.
~the next day~
(On the plane)
Burnie was in carry on, with the other animals on the plane.
Meanwhile I was with Jaiden and Brendon who were arguing over who gets the window seat.
Jaiden pulled up a picture on her phone and showed it to Brendon.
His face dropped.
"If you don't give me the window seat I'll post this on Instagram for everyone to see",she threatened.
He immediately backed off and let her have the seat.
"I don't even want to know",I laughed.
"Yeah I think that's wise",Jaiden laughed with me.
I took a seat next to Jai and Brendon sat on the other side of me.
We had a three hour plain trip to Texas.
