It's official, Jaiden is going on a date with Derek.
She walked out of her room looking absolutely stunning.
"Brendon! Matt! Please don't set my apartment on fire",she said grabbing her phone off of the table.
Brendon rolled his eyes, "We won't".
"And Matt don't leave him here alone",she said to me.
Brendon threw his arms up, "I can stay home alone, I'm 15!",he exclaimed.
"Yeah, and 15 year olds do stupid stuff like throw party's",she sassed him.
"That was one time",he said crossing his arms.
I lightly punched his shoulder, "Hey we can just play video games all night, it'll be fine",I said.
"Alright great, I'll see you guys in a few hours",Jaiden told us opening the front door.
"Jai don't let him pressure you into anything",I called after her but she shut the door.
I sighed loudly leaning back on the couch.
Brendon kicked my leg, "Why'd you let her go!".
I scrunched my eyebrows, "Well what did you want me to do, tie her down and force her to stay".
"No! I wanted you to tell her how you feel".
"You do realize that that would ruin our friendship",I mentioned.
He shrugged, "You never know".
I rolled my eyes at him before getting up off the couch and turning on his gaming system.
Him and I played video games for about three hours. We were being very competitive and yelling at each other.
"Ha I won",Brendon yelled throwing his controller on the floor.
"Yeah yeah, whatever I don't wanna play anymore",I said turning off the play station.
I looked at my phone to see that I was almost midnight. Jaiden said she would be back by 10:30.
"Jaiden should be home by now",I spoke a little nervously to Brendon.
"Maybe she lost track of time".
I sighed, "I don't even know where they went".
Brendon shrugged, "Let's not stress it, I'm sure she'll be here soon.
I nodded and sat down on the couch with him and watched tv.
Every minute that passed I got more and more nervous.
Before I knew it, it was 1am.
I whipped out my phone and called Jaiden. No answer.
I called her again. No answer.
"She's not picking up her phone",I said frustratedly.
By the look that appeared on Brendon's face I could tell he was worried too.
He pulled out his phone and called her over and over and over but she never answered.
He chunked his phone on the couch, "Where is she".
As if at cue there was a knock at the door.
Brendon and I looked at each other with same expression.
I then jolted over the door opening it quickly.
Sure enough Jaiden stood on the other side.
I immediately grabbed her and hugged her tightly.
Brendon ran over and did the same.
"Jaiden we've been calling you",Brendon stated.
She giggled and used me to balance her self as she grabbed her phone.
That's when I realized that she was drunk.
"Haha, you did",she said looking at her phone screen filled with missed calls.
"Where were you? Did you do anything stupid? Why are you drunk?",I suddenly out bursted.
She rolled her eyes at my questions, "I was just at a party,calm down".
"We were worried",Brendon told her.
She rolled her eyes again, "You sound like mom".
By the look that formed on Brendon's face you could tell he was mad at her. He turned away from her and stormed up stairs to his room.
"Someone's mad",she laughed.
"Well duh, you told us that you would be here at 10:30 then you show up drunk at 1am, We were scared",I stated.
"Okay okay I'm sorry, but I'm tired and I just want to go to bed",she said before beginning to walk to her room.
I was shocked with the way she was acting, "I'll see you later Jai",I said annoyed before walking out of the door.
Who takes a girl on a date to a party?
She's not even the party type, she never gets drunk.
Derek must have nagged her to get her to drink.
