Chapter 4
"What was it like the first time you killed a man?" A question no one dared to ask. Rumors would say the brothers would just drop the topic or kill whoever asked right then there. Those were just rumors. The truth was that they plain wouldn't tell you.
"Like you would expect, I was unsure at first." Feliciano lied. "I could barely hold the gun." His lips twitched up almost in amusement for a second. He looked down, trying to let the words sink in. "As for my brother, well he wasn't so lucky, he didn't use a gun."
"What did he use?"Ludwig asked.
"A knife."
"Oh."
"...Most think that killing someone is easy to us, if you paid attention you could see our slight hesitation..." Feliciano trailed off to let the words seem more emotional than they really were. He shook his head and smiled at Ludwig. "Well, I better get going!" He stood up and walked out. A fake smile was held on his face. He hated to tell lies about the events, it always brought up bad memories of what the truth could actually do.

"You have any information?" Alfred asked Tino.
"Well, I heard that you're not doing your job right." Tino joked, casually leaning on the counter in front of Alfred.
"C'mon Tino, I'm being serious." Alfred frowned.
"Sorry hear that because I have nothing." Tino shrugged.
"Seriously?!" Alfred groaned, taking a swig of his whiskey.
"Like I said before, there's been no information currently being passed around."
"Screw this!" Alfred whined.
"Don't yell."
"Fine." Alfred sighed. It was really starting to feel like this case would stay unsolved. Worst case scenario, it would be dropped. Which wasn't something he wanted. It wasn't right.
Arthur, on the other end of the bar, was quite baffled with Alfred. Questioning what Alfred was doing. Alfred got up and left the place with an annoyed expression plastered on his face. Arthur followed behind. He was curious to see where else Alfred would go. There was something suspicious to Alfred actions so it was best he investigate.

Feliciano was relaxing at home quite bored. Suddenly the doorbell rang. When he opened the door all he saw was Antonio carrying Lovino. He let him in instantly.
Antonio put Lovino down on a nearby couch.
"What happened to him?" Feliciano asked, checking brother for any signs of illness or even struggle.
"I don't know he just froze and collapsed!"
"Oh!" Feliciano let go of his brother. "Really? Then he'll be fine."
"What?"
"This happens all the time he'll wake up in an hour or so."
"Why does that happen, exactly?"
"I don't know it just sort of happens." He lied with a shrug. "You can come back later if you want, I can take care of him from here." Toni nodded and headed out. Feliciano looked back to his bother, biting his lip nervously. Lovino wouldn't usually faint in the middle of the day. He must of remembered something but what could of triggered it was the mystery.

Lovino woke up breathing hard. He calmed down once he realized he was back in reality. Whatever strange reality that might be. How he dreaded when this would happen. He looked around a bit confused about where exactly he was.
"You're awake!" A relieved voice said. He looked over and there stood his brother with a tray of food in hand. He stayed silent. Then another person appeared. Before Lovino could even comprehend who it was, he was hugged. Surprised, he stayed frozen. The person pulled away. Instantly, he knew it was Antonio.
"I was so worried, are you okay?" Antonio questioned. Lovino simply nodded. Saying no words. If he did say anything, he would get a long rant. "Good." Antonio seemed to relax.

"Why didn't you tell me you joined?" Ludwig asked his brother at the shooting range.
"I was too busy." Gilbert put his gun down, taking the noise cancelling headphones off.
"Busy with what?" Ludwig crossed his arms, giving a stern look at his brother.
"Hey, Gilbert." Matthew waved passing by.
"Who was that?"
"Just a friend-speaking of friends, I have to go do something." With that Gilbert pushed past his brother, not wasting another second there..
Gilbert arrived to the bar and entered not long of a walk later. He looked around and found his two buddies in the corner. He walked over with a grin.
"Hey losers!" He greeted to the blond and brunette.
"Hey!" The two greeted as he sat down.
"So Francis, Antonio anything interesting happen to you guys?"
"Lovi collapsed in my office today!" Antonio whined with almost tearing eyes.
"What?"
"He was leaving and suddenly he collapsed! I was so worried!"
"I'm sure he's fine." Francis batted his worries to calm down his friend. "Don't cry over it."
"You're right, he was fine...." Antonio trailed off, looking into his drink as if looking into the universe.
"So anything happen to you Francis?"
"The strangest thing happened to me." Francis frowned. "I was walking here when suddenly a guy bumped into me. He didn't even say sorry, he just walked away." He added a childish 'hmph' at the end.
"Excuse me, how is that strange?"
"Are you kidding?! No one can resist me!" Gilbert and Antonio went into a giggling fit at the blond's claim. Francis rolled his eyes. "What about you Gilbert?"
"Nothing much..." Gilbert started, eyeing the two in anticipation. "I got a job." The other two gasped.
"A job?!"
"I thought you would never get a job!" Antonio squealed. "Our boy is growing up so fast!"
"Screw you guys!"

"Impressive skills Kiku." Ludwig stated, as Kiku landed in a graceful stance.
"Thank you." Kiku stood straight and bowed. He straightened himself and put the katana back its place. After a moment of contemplation (and Ludwig leaving), he opted for going to the lounge.
"Kiku what do you think about being in the mafia?" Matthew asked him as he sat down on a sofa.
"It's fine." Kiku shrugged.
"Alright losers, I have a mission for you!" Lovino announced after slamming a door open and interrupting their barely starting conversation. "I have a guy I want you to kill." He handed them a file and left.
"I'm glad we finally have something to do." Kiku said as he opened up the file.
"Yeah." Matthew nodded in agreement. Both stared at the contents of the file. "Why do you think he wants us to get this random baker?"
"Probably owes money."
"What a shame."
