Chapter 5
Lovino was uneasy. He knew the mission he gave to the newbies was quite hard but that wasn't what worried him. He stayed away from his brother. He knew Feliciano understood why. It just worried him the Feliciano would suddenly walk in.
He was in his office just to distance himself. The silence didn't help much. He would only trail off into thought bringing back the memory. It was no use. He couldn't get it out of his head. It stuck like a sticker, clogging his mind. Torturous is what it was. The problem is that he couldn't help but why wonder why it was happening now of all times.
There was a knock at the door but he ignored it. It continued for minutes seeming more like hours. Eventually the knocking stopped bringing the slightest relief to him. Then the door flew open and there stood Feliciano with a worried expression.
"I'm worried."
"I'm fine."
"That's what you said when you had another one of these. You locked yourself in your room for days." Loving frowned.
"I'm fine." He said again with a sharp and clear tone. More talking to himself rather than his brother.
"C'mon tell me what's wrong." Feliciano shut the door behind him. He gave a careful and caring expression.
"Nothing is wrong."
"You may be able to fool others but you will never be able to fool me."
"Are you calling me a liar?"
"Yes, I can tell that you are, in fact, lying."
"How?"
"Simple, you blink too much when you lie." He sat down in the chair facing Lovino's desk. "You're just a bad liar over all."
"The the cops seem to think otherwise." Lovino mumbled to which Feliciano raised a brother in question. He sighed. "Damn you for being so observant."
"Thanks, I try my best. " Feliciano rolled his eyes. "Now tell me what's wrong."
"No."
"I'm your brother, you can trust me."
"I can't tell you because there's nothing wrong, idiot."
"Fine then." With that Feliciano got up and out of the room. Loving sighed in relief once the door closed with the faintest click. He wasn't actually that relieved, he almost wanted Feliciano to keep pushing him but his irritation was building up.

"You bloody wanker!"
"Dude speak English I don't even know what those words mean!"
"They are English words!" Arthur huffed. "It's you that should learn English!"
"In no way are those English words."
"Fight me!" Arthur threw a punch which Alfred easily dodged. Arthur somehow had gotten himself drunk. He just came in out of nowhere and he was drunk. Alfred absolutely annoyed to say the least. With a sigh, Alfred got a hold of Arthur and led him out of the bar to take him home. He didn't even know Arthur went to this bar.
He didn't even think Arthur went to bars in such a sketchy area. You'd expect Arthur to be smarter than this. Yet, here he was drunkenly yelling at Alfred for no good reason. Alfred was simply trying to get information from the bartender but got nothing. This day was really turning up to be a pretty terrible one.
"Where are you taking me?" Arthur slurred.
"Home."
"Why?"
"Because it's two in the morning, Arthur."

"Don't move." Matthew commanded as he held the gun up to the man's head. The man obeyed, shaking like a madman. Kiku sheathed his sword next to Matthew. Bodies laid out on the floor to show all their gruesome work. They didn't expect catching a fairly rich man would be this easy. They walked out of the large house, the gun still pointed to the man. They got into a car and drove off.
The car ride was silent but once they got the base, they put a sack over the man's head and lead him inside. Kiku went to take the man to the questioning room while Matthew went to inform Lovino about completing the mission. When he got to the room, it was very quiet. He was confused by that fact. Lovino was such a loud person. He decided it was best not to question it.
"We got the guy you wanted."
"Good," Lovino stood up a bit wobbly, "I'll take it from here." Matthew nodded and walked out. Lovino let out a sigh and walked to where they took their hostage.
"So it was you?" The man groaned.
"You bet you're ass it was me."
"How dare y-"
"Ah ah ah, watch what you say." He waved his gun teasingly. "You're dealing with the mafia, after all."
"What do want with me?"
"You don't have to be so rude, I have feelings too, you know." He sighed. "I need your help."
"Help?"
"Yes, you see, we're running a bit low on money and I want to make you a deal."
"What kind of deal?"
"Simple, you give us money and I'll keep all your secrets." Lovino smirked knowing that the deal couldn't be turned down. This man had committed the worst of the worst. He had the charms and the money for the most part. The man was still quite a snob.
"Fine."
"Good! It was nice doing business with you. You will be set free in a few hours." He leaned close. "If you even think of going against this agreement in anyway you will be taken care of. Well goodbye, Roderich." He walked out. Once the door was closed he let out a sigh. He didn't know how much longer he could keep up that act. He was satisfied with the results. Of course, the uneasiness of earlier was still there.

"You guys are jerks why am I even friend with you?" Gilbert joked.
"Aw, did you get angry?" Francis then teased. They all laughed.
"No, but seriously is Gil over here falling in love~." Antonio teased. A faint blush appeared on Gilbert face.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"C'mon Gil don't deny it."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"Wow you guys are such children." Tino butted in.
"Thanks Tino."
"You're welcome, now here are your drinks!" He passed them out and walked back to his regular position at the counter. They all took a sip in silence until Gilbert grabbed it and shattered it against the wall.
"What about you Toni?"
"I don't know what you mean."
"Lovi."
"I don't what you're talking about." Antonio averted his eyes shyly with a faint blushing rising on his face.
"Is that why you're blushing?"
"Shutup."
"Love you too friend." Gilbert chuckled. He looked at the clock up on the wall. Seeing the time was 3am. "Well I better get going, I have to work again."
"Aw, so soon?" Francis pouted.
"What do you mean 'soon'?"
"I was joking Gilbert."
"Well, bye." They waved their goodbyes and he was off to his new job.
~
"So we finally had a mission." Matthew mentioned as he sipped his coffee.
"Really?! Why do I miss all the good stuff!?" Gilbert whined
"Don't worry, it wasn't that interesting all we did was catch a guy."
"Who?"
"Someone by the name Roderich, I think."Gilbert chuckled at the name, of course that guy of all people would get involved with the mafia. The very same person he was chuckling about walked into the room looking disheveled. They shared a glance, freezing into place. Matthew sat there confused watching the two staring daggers at each other.
"Um...is there something I'm missing here?" Gilbert snapped out it and answered.
"No, nothing at all."
"I better go," Matthew stood up, "See you later Gil." And he walked out to escape the awkwardness. Leaving the two alone to spar it out.
