Episode 13

Over the next several days, you never left the dark room that Kylo had left you in, nor did he ever come back. Three days in a noiseless, dimly lit room had allowed your mind just enough time to extinguish the raging headache that dealing with Kylo and the Supreme Leader had provoked. After exploring the area, you'd discovered other rooms, and had determined that this was a living space. There was a bathroom, bedroom and a parlor of sorts, as well as a door that you couldn't open.

The door mimicked the metal panels in the walls flawlessly, and had no door knob or key hole. You would never have detected it if not for the disconcerting feeling you got every time you passed it. You felt that whatever resided beyond the door was sentient, if not able to act on its own. You didn't dare try to use the force to open it, fearing what was on the other side.

You lay on the enormous bed, surrounded by an inky nest of silk sheets, bored out of your mind. You'd found a trunk full of books and games on the first day stuck in this room, but you'd read all of the novels and all of the games required two players. The entire trunk had been veiled in dust, untouched for at least a year. You wished that you had someone to talk to. More than anything, you wanted to speak with Kylo.

Shaking your head, you got up from the bed and decided to take a bath. You made your way to the bathroom and turned on the water as warm as it would go. You dimmed the lights to the point that they were barely illuminating the room and closed the door. You poured in an entire bottle of bubble soap, wanting as many bubbles as you could get.

As steam filled the room, you removed your clothing and stepped into the boiling water, callous to the heat that would've burned and scalded most people. The tub was carved out of an enormous precious stone of some kind, and was big enough to fit many people.

(Like this, but obsidian black and larger)

The black walls of the room mixed with the heavy steam gave you a sense of déjà vu, triggering memories from the dreams you'd been having. You still hadn't the vaguest idea who the voice in your dreams belonged to, and the brief glimpses of his face weren't enough to identify him. As you finally began to relax, you heard the main door to the bedroom sliding open.

The blood practically fled from your face as terror took over. The soft rose tinted bubbles in the bath covered your body, but if someone were to come in here...

You heard heavy footsteps, then a metallic hiss. The person stopped by where the bed was and set down something heavy, before you heard the rustling of cloth. Petrified, you realized just how trapped you were. You desperately hoped that whoever was out there would leave, but your wish wasn't granted.

The door slid open with a mechanical whir, and in the doorway stood Kylo Ren, dressed in only a sleeveless shirt and boxers. You gasped sharply and saw Kylo's dark eyes go wide before he shouted, "SHIT," and made the door slide shut again quickly.

You finished washing yourself and drained the tub, realizing that you didn't have a clean set of clothes. You put your coat back on, not wanting to out the other dirty clothes back on, and stepped out if the bathroom to find Kylo sitting uncomfortably on his bed, running his hand through his hair the way that Ben always did when he was anxious. When he saw you, he quickly stood up.

"I'm so sorry, I completely forgot that you were here," he said in a soft, worried voice.

"I-It's fine," you said shyly. "I was wondering if you have anything that I could wear? Just until I get around to washing my own clothes..."

"Um... Yeah, I'm sure that I can find something," Kylo said, walking to the door that you couldn't open. It opened instantly when he got near it, and closed immediately after her entered. Before it could close, though, you got a brief glimpse of what was inside. The only thing that you could see was a damaged mask.

The moment you saw it, your vision went hazy and the scarred face from your dreams hovered close to yours, but this time it was attached to a body. Clothed in all black, he stood uncomfortably close, his sandy hair almost touching your face. He had low set eyebrows and steely blue eyes that examined your face curiously. His entire image was slightly blue and opaque.

You screamed and fell back onto the bed, but the man only chuckled and faded away to nothing.

Kylo hurried back out of the room, carrying some clothes, wearing a concerned expression. He dropped the clothes and hurried over to you, careful not to touch you or do anything to make you uncomfortable. You were very aware of the fact that you weren't wearing any undergarments, and that, because you'd fallen over, everything had been exposed when Kylo had entered the room.

"(Y/n), are you alright? Did you get hurt? What's wrong?" He asked the questions in a soothing tone, not concerned about anything but your well-being and safety.

You explained to him what you'd seen, and he grew silent as the story went on. You described your dreams to him, and how they had connected to the events that had occurred a few days ago.

"Do you know who that could be?" You asked, beginning to calm down.

"Anakin Skywalker."

His words were hushed and nervous, spoken the way that a child says a cuss word.

You remembered learning about him from both Master Luke and Ben, so you were shocked that the man who had become Darth Vader seemed to be taking an interest in you.

A long, uncomfortable silence followed the name. Eventually, Kylo stood up and cleared his throat, retrieving the clothes that he'd dropped. He sat them next to you before going back into the room.

You slowly took your jacket off, not comfortable undressing with Kylo so close. You pulled on a long sleeve black shirt that was far too big and a pair of stretchy black pants that were made of something between gauze and spandex. You crawled into the bed and used the force to turn off the lights, then you heard Kylo tensely shuffle back into the room.

You sighed and moved over, leaving a large space in the bed right next to you for the man who'd destroyed everything that you'd once loved. He slid under the covers, careful not to touch you. Gradually, you fell asleep to the sound of Kylo's steady breathing.
