"Mamas wake up already. You've been sleep for years already."
"Keep talking. I love your voice."
"You're awake? Why didn't you say anything?"
"You we're talking to me. I was listening." She laughed slightly
"Oh yeah? Well doc said you're doing fine and you can go the day after tomorrow."
"Okay, where's little Bryson?"
"He's here too. They're checking him out. I'm gonna head home soon to grab you some clothes. I'll be back in an hour or so."
"What happen to Kay?"
I was hesitant to answer. Now I gotta prep her for the bullshit coming our way.
"I don't know. I set her on the porch before I called your ambulance. When I left to come here she was gone. Mamas I gotta keep you safe and happy so before everything with Kay hits the fan, disable your social medias, just till it's all over."
"Why would we run from it? That isn't you."
"It's not about me. It's about you and Jr., you guys don't need that brutal shit. "
"No. She brought this upon herself! I'm not running."
"Rose, it's not up for discussion!"
After I snapped on Rose I sighed before getting up to leave.
"Just do it. Trust me, you think the shit you were dealing with before Bryson was bad, you haven't seen anything yet. I just want to keep you safe in every way that I can." I added before leaving out
Rose had no idea how brutal people are plus her postpartum depression is around so I know everyone's words would destroy her completely. I gotta have her here 100% for the sake of baby Bryson and myself. She may not understand now, I just hope she listens to me.

I got home in 20 minutes and first went to gather Roses clothes but, the house felt strange, the air felt thick and awkward like, I took a few minutes to actually notice. I walked around the house to make sure no one was there and sure enough no one was. I found myself in Kay''s room, I could feel that something big was coming and it would be because of her.
I sighed then raced back upstairs to pack for Rose. I got her loose fitting black leggings and one of her favorite sweaters of mine to wear. I also got her some underwear and socks. They provided those things but I knew she'd feel more comfortable in her own clothes. I threw it all in a duffle bag and jogged downstairs. I then went to the hall closet and grabbed myself a blanket and a pillow from the guess room and threw it in the duffle. I looked through the bag making sure I had everything, then rushed upstairs to grab Rose's toothbrush and slippers she liked to wear to sleep. This all took about 30 minutes. After checking over the bag again I snuck a couple packages of fruit snacks in the bag from the pantry then made my way back to rose.
