Chapter 23
Tris' POV
"What the hell is going on?" Zeke says as as Tobias and I walk into the control room, smoke stains covering our skin and clothes.
"There's a person who goes by 666 attacking the erudites. We first saw him on the camera holding the man hostage." says Tobias, "By the time we got there, he was gone and the erudites were scattered everywhere. There were a little over 70 casualties, and about 120 erudites who are getting shelter in dauntless until the building is fixed up."
Zeke nods, rubbing his forehead.
"Where will you put the erudites?"
"We are going to have the dauntless born's stay in their families apartments and use their dormitory for some of the erudite. The others will take shelter in empty apartments or any family that lives here in dauntless. We are almost positive there will be enough space for them." I reply, casually wiping my hands on my pants.
"Tris, we should get Teigon and wash up, we will need to guide the erudite into their rooms." He says and grabs my hand, gently pulling me.
"Bye Zeke." I call over my shoulder as we make the walk to his apartment where Shauna and Teigon are.

"This way." I say to the erudite following behind me, Teigon on my right hip.
I lead the last family into an apartment, and finally I get to go home. With Caleb of course.
"Beatrice, thank you for taking me in. I don't know what I would've done without you." I almost laugh at what he says.
He's the erudite, he would figure something out. He's honestly acting a little too kind for his personality. Could he be hiding something. When we were younger, if he was ever hiding something, he'd be extra kind. Maybe he's still like that.
"We're here." I unlock the door and hear the sink running, meaning Tobias is home from taking the other erudite to the dormitories.
"Your room is down the hall and the first right. I'm going to put Teigon down for bed. I"ll see you in the morning."
I put Teigon to bed and he quickly falls asleep. I wander off to our bedroom, rubbing my eyes as I walk, almost running into a wall on the way.
"Come on sleepyhead, you need to get to bed." I hear Tobias say.
I look up and see that the wall I ran into was really Tobias. He has a small grin as he looks down at me. I smile and slowly start towards our room, his hand resting on the small of my back. In all honesty, I don't know how I ended up with Tobias. Perhaps it was fate,or even destiny. No ones destiny changes, and I guess he was my destiny.
