Chapter 14
Tris' POV
Mom comes running up to us with a huge smile on her face and a grin makes its way on my face. She stops about a foot away from me and looks down at Teigon who is sleeping right now. His face is content, no signs of distress showing. It makes me happy knowing that he isn't in pain right now.
"How is he?" She asks while lightly rubbing the small patch of brown hair on the top of his head, making sure not to wake him.
"He's great. Although it will be a little hard for him to learn to walk and the scars will need time to heal." I say and she nods.
Tobias puts his hand on the small of my back, and from the corner of my eye I can see him smiling down at us. I turn all the way to look into his eyes and he smiles, laughing a little with excitement, the laughter lines showing. I laugh a little too and reach up, kissing Tobias' cheek.
When I look back at my mom, she has a grin and caring eyes.
"You guys are adorable. Now I just need Caleb to get married and have kids." She says and we both laugh.
"Well, I'll let you go to your friends." She says before walking away.
Tobias and I start towards the table our friends are at and the closer we get, the more I can see Christina's smile grow.
She gets up and runs over to us squealing, Uriah holding Zach while having a civil conversation with Will.
"You finally got Teigon back!" She practically yells, catching more attention to us and making Teigon whimper. Before you know it, Teigon is asleep, nothing bothering him.
"Yeah, Shauna got us while we were...indecent. But we're happy to have him." I say and she gasps, touching her chest and laughing.
"You just had Teigon, we don't need another mini Fourtris any time soon." She says and Tobias's eyes widen while I choke on the air I was breathing in.
"I never said we were doing it, we were just not fully dressed!" I say and she raises and eyebrow while crossing her arms. She gives me a look saying that we are going to talk later and I sigh.

"What do you need Chris, I left Teigon and Four alone at home." I say while walking into the initiation dormitory, so we can talk in private.
I go to the bed she's sitting on and sit on the one next to her.
"You need to tell me everything about what happened before you got Teigon." She says while wiggling her eyebrows.
"Why." I groan.
"I want to know what going on. Like maybe a little addition, multiplication?" She says and I roll my eyes, covering my now very red face.
"That was the worst joke I've ever heard." She laughs and I uncover my face.
"Alright, but seriously, what happened." She says and I lean against the bunks bar, putting my legs on top of Christina's lap.
"Well, I was in the shower while four was washing his face in the sink after Eric's execution. When I got out of the shower and wrapped myself in a towel, T-Four was leaning against the sink shirtless with his hand rubbing his face. So we talked and ended with us kissing. Shauna just happened to walk in right when we kissed." I say, leaving out the conversation we had.
She nods and almost looks disappointed that that's all we did.
Well she can suck it up.
