Mornings

Callie's eyes flickered open slowly. The morning light blurring her vision. She brushed the side of her face against the softness of the pillow she laid on. With one last flicker of her eyes and erasing the blur that consumed them, her eyes opened and the sight of Brandon's sleeping face in front of hers made her smile gently.
They both just decided to go to sleep after they kissed on the couch. Nothing else had happened. They both just walked together slowly planting kisses on each other's lips until they reached the bed where they just fell down and fell asleep.
Callie looked at him the way she had always wanted to look at him, the way she had but couldn't look at him. He seemed to beautifully still. His head in the depth of a pale yellow pillow, his brown curls messily placed over his forehead and his lips in a slight natural smile. Then he did smile.
His lips curled gently as his hand adjusted on Callie's back, she hadn't even known it was there.
Callie smiled back slightly as she shuffled closer to him on the bed covers until their chests were touching and Brandon's placement on her back had turned in a tight hug.
"Morning." Brandon mumbled softly through his lips as his eyes remained shut.
Callie smiled again as she planted her forehead to his feeling his wiry hair to her skin.
Brandon titled forward softly pressing his lips to hers.
Callie placed her hand on his neck and ran her finger down his jaw line gently.
They withdrew and Brandon's eyes opened fully. He had a profound stare and never to them.
"What are we gonna tell moms?"
Callie sighed deeply as she curled herself into his arms.
"I don't know."
Callie turned and looked at him with a smirk. "Nothing."
Brandon chuckled softly then kissed her again. This time more slowly and passionately.
"They're gonna find out soon enough." Callie whispered as their lips parted.
This time Brandon sighed then looked up to the white roof of the bedroom.
"I'm sick of having to live in fear of them knowing."
Callie turned to him as his arm fell off her waist and was replaced under his head.
"Can't we just have one day." He turned to her and his arm fell around her again.
"Just one."
Callie smiled widely. "Just one?"
He grinned. "I'd prefer forever."
His dark eyes met with hers and they had never been so in love with each other.
Callie placed her hand on the side of his face and wiped her finger along his cheek. "Me too."
Brandon closed his eyes with a satisfied smirk.
Then there was a knock on the door.
Brandon and Callie both leaned up in sync as they wondered who it could be.
"Who is that?" Callie questioned nervously.
"No idea."
Brandon sat up and wandered over to the front door. Callie followed him but she stopped and leant on the wall hiding herself.
Brandon opened the door and immediately froze.
"Mom?"
Stef nodded gently. She looked like she was in cop mode rather than mother mode. Her hair was done neatly and she wore a grey jacket that nearly reacher her knees.
"Hey, B." She said like she was guilty of something.
Brandon just stared at her waiting for her to speak.
Callie stood like a statue as she listened in on the small amount of conversation that was happening.
"Is Callie here?" She asked nervously.
Callie blinked then walked over to the door standing behind Brandon.
"I'm here."
Stef looked to her and breathed in deeply.
"So, can I come in?"
Brandon's mouth fell open slightly. "Uh, yeah."
He stepped out the way then Stef entered the home.
