Aubrey's pov 2 months later
Ive been keepin ta myself lately i aint see aug in a mintue to be honest wit chu i kinda miss him but i took some time ta ma self nd i went ta atlanta ta stay wit ma aunt debbie i spent ma time down there writing ma music nd gettin some off my stuff out there shes the only one that i really can count on shes always there for me no matter what shes my biggest supporter right now im thinkin bout movin down there with her im sad that i go back home today during this ride home ive been real quiet ma dad tried ta make small conversation wit me but it aint really make a difference
We pulled up in front of da house and he grabbed my bags i went straight upstairs and took a shower i unpacked and layed down my phone rung and i ignored it im really not in the mood to talk ta nobody i rolled ma eyes when ma phone rung again it was august so i answered

August- glad ta hear you breathin wsup ive been tryna get in contact wit chu fa months

August- you went on a lil trip?

August- i miss you
I took the phone from ma ear and stared at it fa a minute
Aubrey- i miss you too

I hung up nd hopped in da shower i did ma hygenie stuff nd slipped on ma black skinny jeans nd my cheetah print belly shirt i put on ma cheetah print flats nd i straighted ma hair i did ma make up nd grabbed my black chanel bag i grabbed ma car keys nd phone nd left out i drove ta augs house nd i knocked on da door he opened it and smiled

He let me in he hugged me tight nd kissed me
August- you hungry
Aubrey- nah im good
August- ight then come on its jus us so you ion gotta be shy
He held out his hand i took it and we went upstairs ta his room i sat on the bed an he kicked off his slippers he walked ta his closet nd i looked at all his tattoos mind you he dont got no shirt on so i can see allat sexyness lol he pulled out a small box and i looked at him he sat next ta me

Aubrey- what ?
He opened the box and it was a ring in it i looked at him nd he smiled
August- its a promise ring, ive been thinkin bout chu alot bre i aint feel this way about a girl your different nd your very special ta me i can feel my self fallin in love wit chu
I looked at him nd smiled it makes me happy cause i can actually tell he means it
August- listen ma im askin you fa another chance i really really care fa you alot nd im not given up dat easy i kno your alil brat nd stubborn but im willin ta put up wit allat , so can we try again
I smiled nd nodded

He slid the ring on my right hand and i kissed his lips he pulled me into his arms nd held me
August - so how was Atlanta?
Aubrey- it was good i spent time wit ma aunt nd i wrote some music she was helpin me get it out dea

August- same ol' shit workin nd school but fa some strange reason my brotha wants me quit

He gave me a smile and i smiled back he pulled me close to him and pecked my lips i pecked him back he held me in his arms we cuddled and fell to sleep together

I woke up the next mornin and checked my phone it was a text from aug
Bae😩😍💋- Good mornin my baby😘💕 i woke up this mornin wit chu on ma mind i want chu ta have a good day in school for me no drama ! i wont be there today because sumthin went down but ill see you after school 😘

I got outta bed nd took a shower i did my hygiene stuff i left my hair wet and it curled up i threw on ma black skinny jeans ,my black belly shirt and a black and red button up i tied it around my waist and finished it off with my black timberland boots i threw on ma neck lace and earring wit da ring aug gave me i did ma make up nd grabbed my red mcm back i grabbed the keys ta ma range rover nd drove ta school
While i was at my locker i felt arms wrap around ma waist i looked down and i could tell it was deandrè from the tattoo on his hand i removed his hands and turned nd looked at him

Aubrey- mindin ma bussiness
Deandré- what the fuck is on ya neck

I felt ma neck and he looked closer

I rolled ma eyes and wiped ma mouth off i looked up nd i saw candice starin me down i shook ma head and went ta Spanish class ta start ma work

I was sittin in the trap wit ma brovas mel called a meeting cause something wasnt addin up
I sat on the couch and lit the blunt i took a puff and passed it to jamal i exhaled and ma head fell back mel came in the room and sat down from his face i could tell something wasnt right

I was in biology class when i felt a tap on ma shoulder i looked up and it was deandré i stared at him and he sat next to me

Karen- me and your father are supposed to be goin on a bussiness trip

August- JUST GIVE US THE SHIT SO WE CAN LEAVE!!!

Melvin put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger i stood there and i watched how his brains were painted all ova the wall

We ran back to the car and melvin sped off !
