"I just don't understand!"
I looked around seeing nothing but darkness, it felt so cold and no matter how loud I yelled nobody could hear me.
I want to know where I am. Did somebody come help me? Or did I die on my living floor? This is exactly why you can't trust anybody! Jay was always there for me no matter what and he shot me. I don't care what drugs he was on. He didn't even hesitate and it all happened so fast.
My baby boy! I just want to be there for my son. I don't want him growing up not knowing his mom... It hurts, it really does. I stared ahead seeing a bright light make the dark room become relaxing.
"Baby girl" I heard a voice followed by a soft touch on my cheek. I looked up slowly.
"Mom" I said softly.
"Hi baby. I missed you" She said.
"I miss you too, mom my life isn't what you wanted it to be. I messed up" I cried.
"Sweetheart everything happens for a reason. Don't give up now. You need to wake up and take care of my precious grandson"
"I need help" I continued to cry.
"You're stronger than you think" She smiled. "I love you so much"
"I love you too, please don't go" I cried as she disappeared.
The room went back dark.
Jamal
I sat in the hospital room next to Harmony. God knows I'm praying that she wakes up soon. She's been on life support for 2 months now and the doctors are saying that we should just pull the plug. Nobody agreed. Of course I'll make sure my kids are straight but Khalif needs him mom and Karion adores her.
"Still not woke" Her dad said walking into the hospital room.
"Not yet" I sighed.
"She will be soon... Her mom visited me in a dream this morning"
"Was it hard for you when she passed" I asked.
"Yeah. We weren't together but we were best friends. I wasn't always around but my kids were welcomed to come visit or call me whenever. She was struggling the last few months of her life. I wish it was something that I could of did to help her"
"I pray she wakes up. The kids really need her"
"She will" He nodded confident.
Both of our heads snapped to her heart monitor as it started beeping. "What that mean?" I asked nervous. "She's breathing right? That's a good thing" I said pushing the button for the nurse.
