The Story of Apollyon

The First Sin War

After an unknown number of years, Yaldabaoth became the leader of a demon faction and started a great war to annex the rest of the Demon Realm. The struggle lasted from 1800 to 1796 BC and eventually ended with the complete unification of the feuding tribes and demons into a single kingdom. After completing the unification of the Demon Realm, he realized that he faced a serious problem. The demons in the Demon Realm fed on demonic power, which was produced from sinful souls. These negative emotions arose from the constant conflicts in the Demon World, which filled the world with the aforementioned demonic power. He decided to enslave living souls and reach the Heavens. Among the Greeks, it became known as the Gigantomachy.

During the War of Hell, the entire mortal world was engulfed in battles. The war broke out not only in Hell but also among the diabolical forces eager to expand their dominion by taking advantage of the general chaos on Earth. Among these spawn were monsters that alarmed Apollion, who had not yet recovered from the ice age. These monsters rose from the depths of the sea. Their bodies were slippery, their limbs agile and fast and grew back even if they were cut off. The monsters themselves exuded a sticky liquid... Yes, they were disgusting, but that was not the main thing about them. These monsters were very small and therefore could fit everywhere. Cracks in tables, chairs, and between window frames, cups, books, and brush holders - they could get anywhere. All a person had to do was reach out to suddenly feel something cold, sticky, and wet on their skin... These monsters quickly climbed up the back of the hand, leaving a shining trail.

Apollion responded to the prayers of the inhabitants of the Earth and agreed to wipe these monsters from the face of the Earth. But he could not fight the monsters parasitizing on people in the same way as he fought on the battlefield - swords, spears, and shaking the earth... But he remained an angel of valor, and the promise given to people had to be fulfilled at all costs. A sense of responsibility led him from house to house, where he systematically extracted these monsters one by one and locked them in stone cages... When this tiresome war with the parasites finally ended, Apollion understood the meaning of the expression "a weight off his shoulders" for the first time. This arduous campaign against the monsters, their nauseating smell, and the feeling of slime on his skin made an indelible impression on him.

While Apollion was saving the villagers, a huge ship descended to him and landed warriors of Hell, led by the Archdemon and the Sin of Violence, Ariman.

Soon, Ariman also meets Apollion in person. He explains that he is the Sin of Violence, after they united Hell, becoming the self-proclaimed Seven Sins. Ariman continues his monologue, but is soon interrupted by a punch from Apollion, leading to a duel between them. During the duel, Ariman transforms into his true form, declaring that this power was given to him by the souls of Hell. Apollion realizes that they are enslaving the hellish souls and furiously demands to know what they have done with them. Ariman refuses to answer him and continues to fight. Ariman continues to rant about how the souls have suffered because of the actions of the Heavens, and Apollion, consumed by rage, activates his true form.

Eventually, Ariman consumes all the souls to increase his power, a form that increases his size to such an extent that he becomes the size of a planet. As Apollion is about to be crushed by one of Ariman's fingers, he remembers his entire past and is filled with an indelible rage. Apollion's subsequent concentrated punch against Ariman's finger is so powerful that it completely obliterates it. However, in the process, Apollion's hands are completely destroyed, and, exhausted, Apollion falls unconscious to the ground.

He is found by one of Cain's descendants, who calls himself Moloch and has become one of the Demonic Deities. He takes the unconscious Apollion to a source located near his residence. Apollion thesourceThen, he informs the angel about Yaldabaoth's plans: Yaldabaoth wants to achieve the Great Rebirth, end the War of Creation, which will usher in a new era of peace and prosperity at the cost of a trillion human souls gathered for destruction, using the Book of Raziel, once and for all. Having recovered at the source, accompanied by servants from the hot spring, Apollion and Moloch set off to the surface of the Moon for the final showdown.

Apollion and the Sin of Despair engage in a fierce battle, but neither yields. In an even one-on-one fight, Moloch unsheathes his sword, "The Screaming Darkness," and uses it to destroy the Moon, bringing down the force of his attacks and changing the length of the blade. Attempting to finish off Apollion, Moloch pierces him with a fully extended blade (which is now longer than Earth), pinning Apollion to Earth and piercing through it. As Moloch prepares a killing blow, the Angel of Valor gathers his raging power and shatters the Screaming Darkness into pieces, and, grabbing the broken blade by the hilt with his teeth alone, uses it to slash and kill the impressed Moloch. He is not upset about losing, instead, he is pleased to have died in a fair duel at the hands of his ancestor. He then tells Apollion that he no longer requires anyone's help and from now on he must go his own way.

Shortly after Apollion has paid his respects to his fallen opponent, legions of Hell appear on the horizon, followed by a vast horde of evil spawn. Noticing this, Apollion prepares for battle once more. A fierce battle ensues.

After the battle, in which he was victorious, instead of returning to Heaven to regroup like the others, Apollion decides to first check what is happening on the Greek Peloponnese peninsula, without telling the others. Meeting an Archdemon near the waterfalls who doesn't want to get involved in the war, Apollion challenges him to a fight on the condition that he "gives him a head start." Apollion easily deflects his attack and knocks the Archdemon to the ground to stop him. The demon believes that it is enough for him to defeat one of the commanding Heavenly Angels, and attacks him, but Apollion manages to defeat him with a single blow, and Python, refusing to admit defeat, declares that he will never lose to someone like him, which causes Apollion to accept the challenge and continue the fight.

However, in the following days, Apollion always defeats Python with a single blow until he declares that he will never lose to an angel who got everything out of life, while he disgusts everyone just because of his appearance. But Apollion replies to him that he is beautiful to him and appearance does not matter, and also that they are actually both the same, considering that Apollion was also considered a mediocre angel and earned his glory through hard work, and also that he must first learn to love himself before forcing others to love him. Then Python realizes his mistakes and parts ways with Apollion, making him promise that they will fight again someday. Python remains in Delphi and, with the help of the local people, founds a temple of Apollion, on which the phrase "Know Thyself" is inscribed. Over time, the inhabitants of Delphi begin to misinterpret this phrase, convincing themselves that they are creating a pagan cult of Apollon, which despises humans and believes that they must obey him.

Having lived for several hundred years, protecting the people, Apollion comes to him and takes his Underworld, handing over the Archdemon to the care of his brother Abaddon.

Apollion, the Angel of Valor, flew like an eagle over the Far East, having heard about a demonic calamity on the islands. The ruins of settlements, like the trail of a giant serpent, showed the way. And then, Apollion felt the foul breath of darkness - Yamata no Orochi, the eight-headed dragon, sprawling across the Izumo valley. Its body encompassed eight hills and eight valleys, and its eyes blazed with hellfire.

Yamata no Orochi terrorized the people, demanding sacrifices, and the last hope remained the maiden Kushinada-hime. Apollion could not allow her death. Turning the girl into a comb, he hid her in his hair. Then, addressing Kushinada's parents, he commanded them to prepare eight bowls full of sake and place them in front of each of the dragon's heads.

When Yamata no Orochi appeared, intoxicated by the smell of sake, he greedily drank it from all the bowls. Heavy fumes bound the monster, and the dragon fell asleep. Apollion unleashed his wrath. With a sword wielding lightning, he severed each head, each tail, cleaving through the darkness.

The island rejoiced, but Apollion felt an ominous pulsation - a release of energy surpassing everything he knew. Without wasting time on honors, he said goodbye and soared into the skies, rushing to meet a new threat, for the world always needed protection.

The moment struck when the fate of worlds hung on the edge of battle. Apollion, the Angel of Valor, against Typhon, the hundred-headed serpent-dragon whose cries ripped the heavens apart. The Titan, half-man, half-dragon, soared, touching the stars with his heads, stretching out his arms from sunset to sunrise. Flames of the underworld spewed from his maws, and instead of legs - rings of snakes. This is the finale of the Sin War.

Apollion hurled lightning, heavenly fire, bringing it down on the monster. Typhon answered with poisonous flames, the world shook with their fury. Time lost its meaning, the battle lasted an eternity. The heavenly host retreated, saving mortals, while one of the leaders held the strongest archdemon in battle, preventing him from interfering.

Apollion knew - he couldn't win in open combat. He invoked the last resort - Heavenly Retribution. Hundreds of thousands of angels merged into a single energy stream, crashing down on Typhon. The impact was monstrous, and the Tower of Babel fell like a house of cards.

Weakened but not broken, Typhon continued to spew flames. But Apollion was already concentrating his power. Electrokinesis reached unimaginable power, and a cage of lightning flashed around the monster. An electric dungeon, capable of holding colossi for centuries, ancient creatures whose power rivaled the divine. Typhon howled in impotent rage, locked in a shining prison, and the Sin War finally leaned towards completion.

In that war, Apollion imprisoned about 12 Archdemons and the strongest of the Archdemons at that time: Typhon, Orochi, and two of the Prime Sins...

The war ended in 1750 BC with the fall of the Tower of Babel. In that war, 41 Archdemons participated, commanding legions of sinners and hellspawn.
