Chapter 1 - Welcome to the Inkwell Isles!
For Y/N, what a shocker it was, when he ended up not too far from the Elder Kettle, Cuphead and Mugman's home
If to describe their home: it's a unique structure with a rounded, bulbous shape, resembling a large mushroom or a gourd.
It has a thatched roof in a golden-brown hue, and its walls are a light cream color.
Two circular windows with yellow panes and green frames are visible on the front, flanking a small, arched doorway.
And to Y/N's surprise, he didn't end up in front of The Devil, but in front of the entrance door of the house, where, according to the Game, were the brothers living with Elder Kettle
- Hey, who are you?
... Just the ones the young man needed to expect
He turned around and met Cuphead, Mugman and Elder Kettle
Cuphead and Mugman looked just like their Game Versions, but with some differences
The difference between brothers is not big but if to be short: Cuphead - his head is a wide cup with what seems to be some sort of liquid inside, topped with a red and white striped straw.
His face consists of eyes that are very close together with black pie-cut pupils, and a small red nose.
As for Mugman - the difference is having a blue color scheme to replace Cuphead's red color-scheme, a shorter straw, and a much bigger nose.
His eyes are smaller and is head is slightly thinner. The appearance remains the same as his appearance in the Game, same with his brother, but save for a few differences.
Example:, they both have gloves, that are yellow,
But Mugman's skin has a beige tint to it, and his shoes have an orange tint.
He also has thin eyebrows
And Elder Kettle - he looks almost the same as in the Game, but the changes are to notice:
He is wearing a small pair of glasses (which he is almost blind without), a pair of red slippers and his cane as more of a derby design.
Additionally, his color scheme is more of a grey shade instead of tan, with his lid and stripe being slate grey.
- I- - only Y/N started, Elder Kettle became shocked, not letting him to even say who he is
- You're Human?!
- Uh.... Who? - Cuphead asked, confused
- What's a Human? - Mugman asked, he was confused too
Elder Kettle literally forced the boys and the young man inside their home
Closed the entrance door on the locker and started to explain:
- For a Human to end up in the Inkwell Isles.... It's not possible.... Unless... It's The Devil's doing...
Cuphead and Mugman knew who the Devil is
But...
- If it's The Devil's doing, then why this guy - Cuphead pointed at Y/N - ended up not too far from our home?
- Maybe The Devil didn't have enough strength to force him to appear in front of him - Elder Kettle answered, but it was a guess, not 100% guarantee - I don't know, my boy....
- What are we going to do now? - Mugman asked, he wanted to help, even if they just met - It's not like we'll let- - he couldn't finish cause of Cuphead:
- No way we'll let him stay!
- Cuphead, Humabs are rare, very rare, here in the Inkwell Isles - Elder Kettle told him - How amy of us could know something like that will happen?
- I'm sorry, - Y/N said, getting their attention - You said Humans... They...
- Yes, my boy - Elder Kettle confirmed - You're not the first one to appear in the Inkwell Isles . And sadly, none of them lasted long....
- I... - Y/N didn't knew what to do
Not only he ended up in the famous Game's Show Versioj, no, better say, it's Animated Series, but also he can not to survive!
- Don't worry - Elder Kettle putted his hand on the young man's shoulder - We'll think of something, how to protect you from the Devil. But for now, you'll be living with us. Stay as long as you want
He started to go to the kitchen room, adding:
- Welcome to the Inkwell Isles, my boy
