T H I R D P E R S O N
Today was the day,
the dance.
All three of the teenagers were getting ready as they planned to all meet in the front of the school. The brunette girl slipped on her shorts and top. She put the button up on top but left it unbuttoned.
The dirty blonde boy buttoned up his shirt and put on his jeans. He walks to the white door that is to the purple room that he's very familiar with. He knocks on the door and it reveals a brunette girl with chocolate brown eyes. Her hair is perfectly curled. She has light make up done on her face, although he really preferred no makeup on her.
"Lucas?" She snaps him out of his daze.
"Oh um, are you ready to go meet up with Caleb?" He asks.
"Yeah let me just grab my phone." She walks over to her desk and unplug the fully-charged phone that has a purple case on.
They make their way out of the apartment complex and to Topanga's.

Once the two teens entered Topanga's, they took a seat waiting for the third teen to arrive.
"So you excited?" The brunette asked.
"Yeah, you?"
"Yeah, how were the dances in Texas?"
"I really only went to the Homecoming Dances so they were cool."
"Awe I want to see you in a suite and tie!"
"You will on our wedding day," he winks.
"Shut up!" she giggles.
"Do you see yourself marrying him?"
"Marrying who?" the brunette asks confused.
"Caleb."
"Oh um I don't know, I don't think so," she answers.
Those words caused him to think that maybe he has a chance with her. Maybe, he can have his moment. The moment he's been waiting to have with her for about five years.
"And why is that?"
"Because we're not my mom and dad, if I thought that him and I are going to marry each other, I would've already known, we've bee dating for over two years," she answers.
Could they be the next Cory and Topanga? Could Riley and Lucas get married one day?
These thoughts weren't running through Riley's head but that's all that Lucas could think about at the moment.
"Hey babe," a familiar voice came from the door of the restaurant. The two teens turn their heads to look at him.
"Hey Caleb," the brunette smiles.
"You two ready to go?"
"Yeah," all three of them walk out and Caleb holds Rileys hand.

All three of them walk into the gym of the school. Everywhere there are teen socializing, dancing, or socializing and dancing.
"Hey Ranger Rick, we dancing or what?" the brunette's blonde best friend asks Lucas.
"Uh yeah," he answers her and they make their way to the dance floor.
"Look huckleberry, can you be anymore obvious about your feelings for Riley?" The blonde says as they're moving to the music.
"Is that obvious?" He asks.
"Well either it is or that I've seen you like that before so I know what it look like," Maya replies.
"Well I do but I just want her to be happy and if that means she's with Caleb, then why jeopardize it?"
"Ugh! You're sounding like Riley! You two need to realize that you shouldn't just think of other people's happiness, think of yours too, sometimes you need to be a little selfish."
"I can't think of myself, I can't stand to see her sad."
"So you thought leaving would make her happy?"
"Maya-"
"I know that you had your reasons, I'm not really interested in hearing them but I just want you to know that Riley was heartbroken when you left. She didn't leave her rooms for weeks and when she finally did it wasn't like she was back to sunshine Riley, it took a while to get her back. Now that she's back, and so are you, whether or not you and her up together in the end, don't leave her," Maya tells Lucas.
"Don't worry Maya, I'm not planning on leaving anytime soon," the blonde walks away from Lucas while he makes his way to Riley and Caleb who were talking.
"Hey Lucas," Riley smiles.
"Hey Riles," he smiles back.
"So Lucas, how's Texas?" Caleb asks.
"Um it's good but not as good as New York but one thing I definitely miss is the sky," he replies.
"They sky is really beautiful, there are like a million stars there," Riley adds
"You went?" Caleb asks.
"Well in eighth grade when Lucas was going to ride a bull," she answers.
"Wow, that seems very dangerous, why would you do that?" Caleb says.
"Because I had too and I had the best supporters minus one," Riley looks down.
"Riley? You're that minus one?"
"No, Maya is. It was a very confusing time for all of us."
"Oh."
"Uh what kind of music to you listen to Caleb?" Lucas asks changing the subject so that it would be less awkward.
"Um I'm a R&B kind of person," he answers.
"Nice."
"How about you?"
"I don't favor one genre more than the other I like a lot."
"Same," Riley says.
"Oh cool," Caleb says hiding the anger in his voice. He's not angry about Lucas's music choice, he's mad that that's just another thing that Lucas and Riley have in common and him and Riley didn't. Time for his Plan B. "Hey Lucas, can I talk to you for a second?" He asks.
"Uh yeah," he answers and they walk away from Riley. Maya notices the two males make their way to outside of the school and she follows them.
All of Maya's friends, minus Lucas, knows that she isn't fond of Caleb. She senses that there is something off about him. She gets a Charlie Gardner vibe from him. She hides behind a wall and grabs her phone and presses record on her phone and records both of the teenage boys.
"Hey so what did you want to talk to me about?" Lucas asks.
"I know that you're not trying to take Riley away from me but I know that in the end that's what will end up happening so do me a favor and just stay away from her, she doesn't need a guy that's going to leave her, she needs me, a guy that's going to make her happy and stay."
"Sorry to break it to you but it's kind of hard to stay away from her considering I live in the same house as her."
"Well your a smart guy I'm pretty sure you can think of something."
"And if I don't?"
"You will wish you had," Caleb finishes and starts walking towards the door. Maya stops recording and starts running and goes into the bathroom and starts typing.
"Here's your 'amazing' boyfriend and Lucas's conversation if you're wondering." Maya hits send and walks back into the gymnasium.

Riley was having a conversation with Farkle about collage.
"I don't know Farkle it's either between Harvard or-" she feels her phone vibrate and opens the text. She reads it and presses play on the video and watches every single second of it. Hearing her boyfriend threaten her best guy friend is something that she isn't too happy about. She's upset at the fact he obviously doesn't trust her because in her eyes, it shouldn't matter if you don't trust the other person, you should trust your significant other. One thing that every good relationship needs to have is trust and she obviously doesn't have his and he just lost hers.
She notice the too guys walking back in and walks to both of them.
"Hey babe," Caleb says.
"Don't 'hey babe' me," Riley snaps.
"Riley are you okay?" Lucas asks her.
"I don't know Lucas. Caleb, you want to explain why you just basically threatened Lucas?"
"What? Where would you get an idea like that?" Caleb laughs trying to hide everything.
"Oh really? So you didn't say that is Lucas doesn't stay away from me, he will wish he did?" She raises her eyebrows.
"No I would never do that, right Lucas?" He turns and looks at Lucas, as does Riley.
"Right," he looks down.
"Shut up Lucas, I know you're lying," she snaps and holds out the video in front of both of the boys.
"Where did you get that?" Caleb asks.
"Does it matter? You don't trust me and now I don't trust you. I told you that there's nothing going on with Lucas and I and you didn't believe me."
"Riley-"
"Don't even bother, it's done, we're done." She says and walks out.
"You! You did this!" Caleb says pointing at Lucas.
"I didn't do anything," he says. Caleb does hesitate to throw a punch at Lucas's jaw. Lucas holds the side of his face and punches Caleb in the stomache and he falls.
Maya quickly calls Riley.
"Hey peaches thank you for the vid-"
"Riley that doesn't matter right now because Caleb just punched Lucas and now they're fight in here," Maya interrupts Riley.
"I'm on my way back inside," Riley replies. She runs down the hall and makes her way to the gym and opens the door to see them both fight. "STOP!" She runs over to it and tries to pull Caleb of Lucas. Maya helps Riley pull him off. "What is wrong with you?" She yells at Caleb.
"Riley-"
"Come on, let's go Lucas," she grabs Lucas hand and they go home. When they get inside its empty and notice a note on the table.
Dear Riley,
Your mom and I are going out on a date and since there was no one else here, Auggie is at a friends house so it's just you a Lucas for now. Remember, no funny business ;)

"I don't know why he's doing this?" Riley says angrily
"I think I know why, remember when I said that I would wait for you?" She looks at him and furrows her eyebrows.
"Yeah," she answers.
"I should've never said that, I should've just kissed you," he says getting closing to her, their lips inches apart from each other and her heart begins to race, "but, rules are rules, goodnight Riley Matthews." With that, he walks back to his room leaving Riley there frozen, not knowing what to do. Although, she did know one thing, she was still has feelings for Lucas Friar.

Hey I'm back this is a somewhat long chapter. Hope you enjoyed reading this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it. Also there maybe some mistakes because I wrote some of this at 3 am so yeah.
