Jaiden starred at me with a look of shock, I could tell she wasn't expecting that question.
"Did you get that from my brother?",she asked slightly aggravated.
"No, I started to put it together on my own. But I did hear-....You know what it doesn't matter, just answer my question",I said almost shouting.
She shot me a look of pure anger, "No Matt, nothing is going on between me and jack,"she spoke sternly.
"Nothing?".
She threw her arms that were crossed over her chest down forcefully, "I knew something like this was going to happen".
"What? That you knew you were going to cheat on me".
"No!"she exclaimed.
"Then what Jaiden?"I shouted.
"I knew that it was a bad idea to date my best friend",she yelled but as soon as the words left her mouth her face softened.
I stood there and starred at the floor for what felt like forever before I finally had the courage to look back up at her, "Yeah..",I simply whispered before turning around and walking inside.
Johnson was walking down the stairs as I was walking up them. I hung my head low with the situation that happened just seconds ago replaying in my head. "Hey man, you alright?",Johnson asked.
I brushed past him not saying a word, once I got to my room I slammed my door and threw my self onto my bed like an upset teenager.
It's over... Jaiden and I are over.
Suddenly my door opened and Brendon appeared in my doorway. "What's going on?I just saw Jaiden crying, did you two get in a fight?".
I sighed, "Yeah...we're through".
"Wait! What? No, you two can't just break up like that".
"Well we did",I yelled.
Brendon took a step back, "It's non of my business anyways",he spoke quietly before walking out of my room slowly.
For the rest of that night I stayed in that room with the door shut. Jaiden and the jacks are leaving tomorrow morning and I'm hoping I can hide in here until they're gone. I know it's not good to just run away from your problems but at the moment I didn't care.
The next morning after a sleepless night there was a light knock on my door, "Uh..So we're leaving. It was good seeing you Matt",Gilinsky spoke awkwardly through the door.
"Yeah, it was fun... By Matt",Johnson's voice appeared in the same tone.
I simply muttered a quick bye before I heard them walk down the stairs and seconds later out the front door.
This was not how this weekend was supposed to go. I was angry, not with Jaiden or Johnson but with myself, because once it comes down to it, I'm the only one who did anything wrong.
