Jaiden and I laid on the couch together watching a movie.
We were supposed to go out for dinner but we let our laziness take over as usual.
Jaiden and I have been together for almost three months and it's been nothing less than perfect.
Jaiden suddenly grabbed the remote and paused the movie before letting out a heavy sigh.
I shot her a confused look, "Uh, you okay?",I laughed lightly.
She sat up and leaned back on the couch, "I need to tell you something".
My heart beat increased, "Um.. Okay".
"I've been trying to find the best way to tell you this because I know that you aren't going to be happy",she spoke.
"A-are you breaking up with me",I said quietly.
She grabbed my hand, "No of course not.....Matthew its just that... Jack and Jack invited me to finish out the tour with them. They want me to be the opening act...",she said looking down.
I smiled, not because I was happy that she was leaving, but because I was happy for her. I know that she hasn't been able to perform her musical talents lately, shes just been making YouTube videos.
Just the other day she was talking about how she missed preforming on stage.
"Jai this is awesome, I'm so proud of you",I said hugging her tightly.
She looked at me smiling, "I'm gonna miss you so much".
"When are you leaving?",I questioned.
"In two weeks",she answered.
"Well what about Brendon? Where's he gonna stay?".
Jaiden shrugged, "He may have to fly back down to Texas for a while".
"No! He can stay with me",I suggested.
"Matt, are you sure?".
I nodded, "Yeah of course, Brendon and I haven't spent time together in a while anyways".
Jaiden smiled lightly, "He'll be excited about that".
I grabbed the tv remote from her lap and turned it off.
"Are we not going to finish the movie",Jaiden laughed.
"We have two weeks together before you leave for almost a month. Let's go out!",I said standing up.
Jaiden looked at me with a confused expression, "Where are we going to go, it's almost midnight".
I grabbed her hand and pulled her up to her feet.
"It's a surprise",I smirked.
"Hmm okay",she sighed before walking away to put on her shoes.
I pranced up the stairs to Brendon's room and lightly knocked on the door.
"Yeah",I heard him call through the door.
"Jaiden and I are gonna go do something, do you wanna go?",I spoke back with my face close to the door.
"Where?",he questioned.
"You're gonna have to wait and find out".
