Chapter 4
It was a day when I didn't care what happened. My life is one that doesn't have any eventful events to fill it. I still felt that there was some reason that I was born. There was this lingering promise of words that always sat at the back of my head.
'We'll meet in our next life. Promise me Eren'
Those words would always be there. I always knew they meant something but I could never figure out what they meant. Especially the last three words...
'Promise me Eren'
The voice was always the same and the person who was saying it was always the same. The same voice that showed that he really didn't care about life. Those were in my normal dreams. But those words always nagged at me from the back of my mind and I would wonder what they were.
"Hey Eren," Armin said walking up to me.
"Hey Armin," I said.
"I got you your favorite drink because it is you birthday."
I widened my eyes and pulled out my phone.

Wednesday, March 30th
"Oh...I guess I forgot," I said.
"How do you forget your own birthday Eren?"
"I just guess I was so caught up in all my school work that I didn't notice."
"Wow dude."
We kept walking towards the court yard since we always spent our time before class here. I saw the usual bench we sat at just ahead.
As I was walking, I accidentally bumped into someone. My drink spilled all over me and went all over the other person.
"Fuck," I said.
"Shitty brat...what the hell?"
"Sorry sir," I say.
I look up from my shirt and then up...no, down at the man standing in front of me.
His face has a look of anger on it. He has short Raven hair that is styled into an undercut. His eyes are a blue grey. Where do I know him from?
"You freaking owe me a drink brat," he says with a cold time.
"Y-yes...of course. I'm still sorry," I say.
"Sorry to interrupt," Armin says," but what might your name be sir?"
"Why do you care blonde coconut?"
"It's because you look familiar and I wanted to see if you were a certain someone I've seen before."
"Levi Ackerman."
I see Armin's eyes widen. And then he forms some sort of stance with his arms. His hands are both fists. His left one placed behind his back and his right over his heart. When he does this, Levi's eyes widen.
"It's nice to see you again Corporal Levi."
My eyes widen when I hear that name. I look back at Levi and he looks at me.
"E-Eren?" He says.
"Levi?"
He jumps up and wraps his arms around my neck. I wrap my arms around his waist and then lift him up. He then wraps his legs around my waist. We stay like this until we hear the bell ring.
"Looks like we will be late," I say.
"But for once I don't care," he responds.
And then our lips meet.
"Happy Birthday brat," he says.
