Laura's POV
Every where you go, people are judging you.
They judge you. The way you walk, the way you talk, the way you look, the way you dress, the grades you get, you're hair colour........should I keep on going?
Caused I could go on for hours.
......it's just that at this school, people don't care about personality. It's all about looks.
If you wear glasses, your a nerd. If you don't, then you can actually be be tolerated.
Braces are absolutely unacceptable.
If you wear braces at this school, just know that your life will be an absolute hell.
But these aren't my rules?
Some of them are, but these are just the basics. We have a lot more.
Clem: thanks for the ride laur.
Laura: just get out before my friends get here.
Hannah: you could be nicer, you know?
I roll my eyes, and they leave.
I got out of my car and walked into the the school.
The usual thing happens. Guys try to get my number, a couple of girls. And then my friends come over.
Hollie: Laura!
Hollie is actually a really nice person. She is nothing like me, I won't deny that. Some times I wonder how we became friends.
Ariana: this Aili girl is getting out of control! Laura, you have to do something.
Definition of Ariana. Typical bitch. She joined 2 years ago, and she was like, in love with me. Every thing about me. She copied the way I dressed, and the way I styled me hair. Apparently, she wanted to be like me. She was that kind of new girl.
Laura: what did she do?
Ariana: she's talking to Ross!....like, who does that?!
Ariana is actually really annoying. She's just...I don't know, she's crazy.
Laura: okay.
Ariana: okay?!....Laura, you have to do something!
Laura: okay. Ross!!!
I call out. He sees me and runs over to us. Aili, obviously follows him.
Laura: hey, baby.
Aili: oh. This is your girlfriend?
Yes! I'm his girlfriend! Now back off!
Which I obviously did not say.
Laura: yeah.
I fake a smile.
Laura: I'm Laura.
Aili: hi. I'm-
Laura: I know who who you are.
I'm still faking this stupid smile. And this bitch is getting on my nerves.
Ariana: hey Aili. You see, Ross is Laura's boyfriend. So maybe you should back off.
Laura: okay. Ariana. Shut up.....Aili, I'm sorry about my friend.
Aili: that's okay. You're really nice.
From the corner of my my eye, I can see Ross trying not to laugh.
Ross: Laura and nice, do not got together.
Laura: shut up Ross.
Aili: okay bye guys.
And Aili leaves.
That bitch is actually very annoying. I hope she doesn't turn out like Ari.
Laura: I can't stand that newbie.
Ariana: then why are you being nice to her?!
Hollie: Ari. Leave the poor new girl.
Laura: I am not being nice to her. Just wait.

Aili's POV
So far, I'm loving this school.
I think I made 3 new friend. Ross, Laura and Hollie.
I don't to know about Ariana though. I don't think she likes me.
It's lunch time, and I just bought my lunch and now I'm looking for a place to sit. Apparently, were you sit at lunch is very important.
???: hey, new girl!
I look around, and see this short girl with curly brown hair, and another girl with long, straight blonde hair.
So, I walk up to them.
???: hey. Come sit with us.
The short girl says, and I take a seat next to her.
???: I'm Raini.
She says.
???: and I'm Dove.
The blonde girl says.
Aili: hi. I'm Aili.
Raini: hey Aili. So.....you're new here, right?
Aili: yeah.
Raini: have you made any actual friends yet?
Raini asks.
Well, I have since I've met Laura, Hollie and Ross......and Ariana and think.
Aili: yeah. They're is this boy called Ross in my art class. And Laura. She's really nice.
I say, and they both gasp.
Dove: you mean Laura Marano?
Aili:.....yeah.
Raini: Laura Marano is not nice! She ruined my life!
Aili: really?
Dove: she's satan. What do you mean nice?
Aili:...she was nice to me this morning.
Raini: it's all an act. I swear!
Ok.....this is really weird. Laura seems really sweet. She was nice to me this morning.
Raini: stay away from her. She's never up to anything good. Non of the populars are.
Aili: she's a popular?
Dove: she's like the most popular girl in school! What are you?! New here?!.......wait. actually, never mind.
Raini: you can hang out with us now.
Is Laura actually a bad person? Cause Ross was telling me about how everyone judges everyone here.
Laura: hey, Aili!
Laura calls, as she walks over to us with her friends and Ross.
Laura: how come we didn't see you?
Aili:...uh...well, Dove and Raini--
Laura: oh, hey Raini.
She cuts me off.
Laura: wow. Maybe you two should come sit with us at lunch some more.
Dove: really?
Raini: Dove and I?
Raini asks.
Laura: no.
Laura says smiling.
Laura: after you get laser eye surgery, and lose some weight.
Laura says laughing, as Raini just sighs.
Wow....she really is a bitch.
Ariana: like, a lot of weight
Ariana laughs.
Laura: Ari. Nobody asked you anything. shut up.
Okay. I thought she was nice, but I take back every word. Laura is far from nice.
Ross: Laura. We have to go to class.
Laura: shut up, Ross. We have 10 minutes.
Ross: but-
Laura: oh, and Aili. Don't forget. You're invited to my sleepover tomorrow.
Raini: sleepover?....aren't those a bit kiddy?
Laura: trust me?....this is not just sleepover, Raini.
Laura smirks.
I don't know why, I still don't hate her. And it's not easy to like someone like this.
