Y/n's POV
"Come on. What's the best way to cheer you up?" Tyler asked me with curiousity
"By bringing Jonathan back." I replied in a barley audible voice. This may seem strange to you, but in this life I lived, everyone was immortal. Well, assumed immortal. Jonathan was one of the unfortunate souls who disappeared a thousand years ago. Yes, I know, we are some old dinosaurs
"I doubt he would come back." Tyler sighed before I heard his phone go off. "Let me take this call really quick." He murmured and walked off into the other room
Tyler's POV
"Hello?" I questioned
"I found Jonathan." I heard Evan's voice over the phone. My mouth practically hung open
"How?!" I wondered loudly
"Well, Craig and I were out on a walk when we saw this old hut near the entrance of the woods. We decided to explore it and we found him dead asleep on a makeshift bed." He responded
"Did you wake him up?" I raised an eyebrow
"I woke him up with a surprise ice bucket challenge.." Evan trailed off
"And how did he respond to you being a dick?" I questioned
"He almost stabbed me with the bucket when he didn't know it was me. After he realized it was me, well, he still hit me with the bucket." He sighed
"Of course he did. Anyways, do you think we can get y/n and Jonathan back together?" I asked
"Only one way to find out." I could hear the smile in his voice as he said this. Well, this should be entertaining
Third Person POV
"She's right this way." Evan opened the front door to y/n's house and urged Jonathan to go inside
"Are you sure she'll remember me? It's been a thousand years." The tears threatened to come out of Jonathan's eyes, him desperately wanting to see his true love again
"I'm sure she will. Come on." Evan grabbed his hand and both quietly walked up the stairs and stopped at the second door on the left. "She's in there." Evan noted
"Here goes nothing." Jonathan sighed, and quietly opened the door. Luckily, y/n didn't notice him enter the room yet. He also noticed something different too. Music was playing as she had her back to him. He quickly realized that this was her favorite song that she would play whenever she was depressed

Y/n's POV
"The day we met; Frozen, I held my breath. Right from the start, I knew that I had found a home for my heart beats fast with colors and promises. How to be brave. How can I love when I'm afraid to fall? But watching you stand alone, all of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow. One step closer." I sang to myself, knowing that no one was listening to my call of being alone without Jonathan in my life
"I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more." I promised. I was pretty sure no one would do the guy's part unless Tyler would burst in out of nowhere to have a song spaz. I sighed quietly, but then I heard someone join in
"Time stands still. Beauty in all she is. I will be brave. I will not let anything take away what's standing in front of me. Every breath, every hour has come to this. One step closer..." I spun around and expected Tyler to stand there, but it wasn't him. It was Jonathan
"Jonathan.." I started with tears in my eyes
"I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more. And all along, I believed I would find you. Time has brought your heart to me. I have loved for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more." Both of us sang together just like we used to. "I'll love you for a thousand more."
"One step closer.." Both of us started walking towards each other slowly, hardly believing that this was happening
"I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more." More tears threatened to appear. Was I dreaming?
"And all along, I believed I would find you. Time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more.." Both of us trailed off
"Am I dreaming?" I asked him
"No, baby. I'm here." He whispered and engulfed me in a hug. "It's been a long time, but my feelings for you never vanished. I couldn't get you out of my head." He admitted
"Same." I smiled through my tears of joy. "I thought you were gone for good, but apparently you're not." I cried into his chest
"Shh..." Jonathan started stroking my hair to try and calm me down. "It's ok now, darling. Everything will be ok. I'm back, and there's nothing that's going to take me away from you this time." He told me with confidence
"Promise?" I asked, my voice shaky
"I promise with all of my heart." He whispered as the music slowly faded and we were surrounded by a comfortable silence. I'm not complaining. All I wanted was to live my life once again and be with my big goofball that is Jonathan Dennis
