Markiplier~ Masquerade Ball
(This is a rather, unintentional, long one, so please just bear with me)
Y/n's POV
Dear y/n,
You are cordially invited to a masquerade ball! You will be given your own mask within this package and the code name you shall use upon your arrival. There will be twenty people in all, including yourself, who will be attending tonight. Come to 539 Darkhill Drive for the ball at 8:30 PM sharp. Hope to see you tonight

Hurricane? That must be the guy's code name. Anyways, this will be the first ball I've ever attended by myself. I'm excited, but nervous at the same time. Then again, who wouldn't be?
I dug deeper into the box (Do not take this out of context. I know you dirty minds out there.) and pulled out a slip of paper and a strange mask. I quietly read what the paper said on it

Hey, at least the name doesn't suck
I quickly checked what time it said on my phone. 4:57 PM. Ok, so that at least gives me two hours to get ready, since it takes around 45 minutes to get to Darkhill Drive. I know it takes around that time since my friend, Carys, lives on the street next to Darkhill
I grabbed the mask and started to walk up the stairs. Might as well take a quick shower
*At Darkhill Road, 8:23 PM*
"Ok. Here it is. 539!" I exclaimed before I saw the giant mansion the mailbox belonged to. "Oh for crying out loud." I walked into the grass and up to the door. I knocked on the door and saw a bodyguard open up a slot within the door
"Invite?" The man questioned. I grabbed out the slip of paper that showed my invitation and handed it to him. He scanned the paper and then opened the door. "Welcome, Black Widow." I saw his smile from underneath his full face mask. I smiled back and looked around to see a red carpet leading into another room
"Am I supposed to follow that?" I asked the man as he nodded back to reply. "Thank you very much." I adjusted my black dress to match my code name and mask and slowly walked the path
"Alright. That's 19. Where's the last one?" I heard someone ask, who I assumed was Hurricane. I rushed into the room and, pretty soon, all eyes were on me. "Ah. There's the 20th. Ms. Black Widow." He smiled as he noticed my presence
"Hello." I waved. "I apologize if I was late. My friend had stopped me to ask me a question before I came." I explained, trying to be as formal as possible
"It's no big trouble." He waved it off. "You're just on time, actually. Why don't you take a seat?" He suggested
"Certainly." I nodded and sat down on the giant velvet couch within the room. There was four others sitting here as well. The rest were on singular chairs, bean bags, or standing up
"Excellent. As you can guess, my name is Hurricane. I will be your host for this evening. Now that I've gathered you all here, I would like you to introduce yourselves. Ms. Black Widow, why don't you start us off?" Hurricane questioned
I stood up quickly as, once again, all eyes were on me. "Alright. Hi everyone. My name is Black Widow, as you have heard. I am 21 years old and I love to write books and play video games within my free time." I sat down after that
"Next one." Hurricane pointed to the boy sitting next to me. He had pointed up light brown hair and sparkling green eyes
"My name is Wolf. I am a 24 year old male who likes to make vlogs for Youtube and spend time with my pet dog." He introduced himself
The introductions kept going until we reached the last one, who looked rather suspicious to me. He had chocolate colored eyes with sort-of spiked up black hair. He wore a tux, like expected, but there was a red rose within the pocket
"Hello everyone. My name is Darkiplier. I am 26 years old and I love to make people smile. I hope to get to know some of you a bit better." He did a quick bow and I could have sworn he winked at me before he sat back down
"Perfect. We shall begin the music and start conversations." Hurricane smirked and walked off. All of us left in the room stood up and started to mingle with the others. I was relieved to see no one came up to me, but that was quickly demolished by Darkiplier walking towards my direction
"Hello. Black Widow, correct?" He asked me while raising an eyebrow
"Yes, that is correct." I nodded
"Nice to meet you." He smiled while holding out his hand. I shook it quickly
"Nice to meet you too." I returned the smile. We were about to continue the conversation before music blasted the room and startled everyone. The music paused for a moment so people can talk
"I apologize for the interruption!" Hurricane exclaimed from one of the balconies as he was setting up the music system. "It's time to grab a partner and start the slow dancing!"
I'm not sure who, but I think The Trickster did a long wolf whistle before everyone burst out laughing
"Yes, thank you for that Trickster." Hurricane let out a chuckle before starting the music again. I quickly realized the song was Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran

"Would you like to dance?" Dark asked while holding out his hand towards me
"Gladly." I took his hand before he wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck

"You know, I've never danced with someone like this before." He chuckled
"Neither have I." I responded. "First time for everything I suppose."

"Now, tell me this," I started while still dancing with him, "will you ever show your true identity to me?" I smirked from under the mask
"Tell you what: Meet me at the entrance to Stonewood Park tomorrow at noon, and you shall see who I truly am." He compromised
"Deal." I nodded
