Chapter Four- how destiel met
Castiels POV
Castiel was really unhappy with going to a new school, but at the same time relived.
He wasn't real popular at his old school, but least he knew on how to blend in.
When Cas first got out of Lucifer's car, he immediately ran in to someone.
"Chicken fried ducker." Castiel muttered. He looked up at the person he ran in to. The guy's expression shown anger, but they soften as he looked at Castiel.
"Did you just say chicken fried ducker?" The boy said laughing, and held out his hand for Castiel to grab.
When Castiel got a full look at the guy, he just thought...wow. He was wearing a leather jacket, and had a short haircut. He was really muscular and he had these fan fiction green eyes.
Castiel realized he was staring and quickly looked away, blushing.
"Uh..y-yeah." Castiel awkwardly laughed. He usually wasn't this awkward.
"When we were little, my dad would make up fake swears to keep us from using real ones."
"Wow, that was clever at him, I'm Dean."
"I'm Castiel." Dean looked at him confused.
"Isn't that the name of an angel?" Dean asked.
"Yeah, my mother was really religious and named my whole family after Angels."
"Wow, I guess an angel name does make sense." Dean said really quietly but Castiel still heard.
"Hm, how so?" He asked.
"B-because of the way you gracefully ran into me, only angels could have that type of grace." Dean seemed a little tongue tied but quickly covered it up.
"So, Cas, are you new here? Or are angels good at blending in to?" Hm, Cas...no one had ever called him that before.
His family usually called him Cassie and everyone else just called him Castiel. He liked they way Dean said it though.
"No, my family just moved here yesterday."
"Well Cas, do you want a tour guide?."
"It would be my honor Dean."
Dean lead him to the office but sadly had to go before he was late to class.
Ugh he got science as his first, Cas hated science. Last time they had to dissect something Cas threw up all over the poor frog.
When he entered science, late, he saw the guy he saw earlier.
Deans POV
"Who are you?" The teacher asked.
Dean looked up, and saw the new student Cas. Dean would never admit this to anyone, but he thought Cas was the hottest guy ever, was pretty bad to think of considering he had a girlfriend, Lisa.
But how could he not think the new kid was hot, with his dark brown sex hair, and the bluest of blue eyes. And a face that Dean personally thought belonged to an angel. Which made sense because Castiel was named after an angel.
"Uh...I'm new here. My name is Castiel Novak."
"Okay, go to the back by...Dean. Dean raise your hand." Dean did as he was told and was super happy. Cas interested Dean and Dean wanted to get to know him more.
"Well we met again, stranger." Cas said after sitting down next to Dean. Cas seemed to be less nervous then when they first met.
"Who are you?" Dean asked, just to have a little fun with Cas.
"I'm Castiel, and I am the angel of the lord."
"Did you come here to save me from this excruciating boring class?"
"No, I am here to laugh at your pain."
Dean laughed, he had a feeling that he and Cas would be good friends.
"Wow, Angels have a sick twisted sense of humor."
"It's not my fault you mortals feel pain so easily."
The teacher cleared her throat rather loudly which got the attention from the two boys.
"Dean, Castiel. Do you have something to share with the class?"
"I know a little more about the history of angels, or at least about this one." Dean stated, he wasn't the type of person who would get nervous when talking back to the teacher.
"Anything Useful and science related?" The teacher asked, obviously irritated.
"Hm...nope. I left all my science facts in another mind."
"Then I advise you pay attention if you don't want detention, you too Mr. Novak."
Cas just nodded in response, blushing a little.
After the teacher continued with her lesson one minute or two after that Dean turned to Cas to talk to him again not caring about the teacher.
"So, Cas. Tell me more about Angels, what are their favorite foods?"
It turns out that Castiel was in most of Deans classes and got to know a lot about the Angel and was interested to know more.
Castiel was really shy at first but as soon as they saw each for the second time, they couldn't stop talking! Which was really weird for Castiel, since he isn't much to say anything...ever.
When Dean's classes before lunch were over he invited Cas to sit with him and his brothers. To Dean it would just be another excuse to spend more time with the interesting angel named boy.
At lunch Dean could see that Cas was getting bored, and wasn't talking that much, so Dean decided to take Castiel to his favorite place in the school.
Dean forgotten to tell anyone else where they were going though...it's not like he wanted them to worried. It's just that all of his attention was focused on Cas.
"Where are we going?" Cas asked when Dean quietly walked him out of the cafeteria unnoticed.
"Just Shh...it's a surprise."
"But what about -"
"I said Shhh..!"
"Fine, I don't want freedom of speech anyway." Cas mumbled and pouted which made Dean "Awee" in his mind, every though he would never admit that.
The room that Dean wanted to show Castiel was on the other side of the school. So it didn't take long until Cas got impatient.
"Dean...are you planning to kill me or something, this is taking longer then I expected?"
"Shit, how did he know." Dean laughed as he say Cas' eyes widen.
"No, don't worry I'm not, the room is just over here."
Dean and Cas soon arrived to the room that had 'Shop Class' painted on the door sloppily.
"Shop class, you didn't really strike me as the type of the guy that would take a class on shopping..." Dean tried to hide his laughter at Castiel's confusion but failed.
"No Cas, not that's what shop class is!"
"Well the name seems to differ."
"Cas, shop class is a class about engineering."
"Well sorry! The name confuses me!" The way Castiel said that so defensively made Dean laughed.
"You don't get out much do you?"
"Yes I do! My food has to run out sometime!"
"Okay okay."
"Why did you bring me here?" Dean actually forgot that he brought Cas here for a reason.
"Well, this place means a lot to me."
"How so?"
"Well, the teacher, Bobby Singer, who is also my uncle basically, made this class, and still does the best part of the day. My family was going through a lot a year ago, and this class always cheers me up."
"I'm guessing you like engineering then?"
"Are you kidding, I love it, and because of it I can fix up Baby whenever I need to!"
"Baby?" Dean forgot that not everyone gives names to their cars.
"That's the name of my Car."
"Oh." Cas said. "Interesting."
"Well we should get back then." Dean said. "Before they start a manhunt."
"Dean calm yourself, those assbutts probably don't even realized we're gone."
Dean laughed at Castiel's choice of words.
"Well....race you." Cas said and ran off.
"Oh no you don't, you assbutt!" And Dean began running.
"Hey!" Cas shouted from up front. "I can only said that, don't be an assbutt and take that from me!"
At that moment Dean realized that maybe soon the best part of his day wouldn't be shop class.
