Chapter 6

Marie's POV

I sat on the porch of the house, the breeze blowing through my hair slightly. I finally got to see what it looks like outside the farm. The barn was a bright red and white, obviously painted recently. There was a giant oak tree with a tree house and tire swing. The grass was a beautiful green and it was neatly trimmed. I heard a neigh from the barn, so there must be a horse nearby. I looked at the sky and saw it a gorgeous blue color. Somehow, it still didn't feel like I enjoyed it. Maybe if it was... darker, I thought, lost in thought.

I sat there for a while until I heard someone asked, "What are you doing up?" I turned to see Tobias there. He wore a green shirt, grey shorts, and cowboy boots. His arms crossed over his chest as he stared at me with his two colored eyes. I looked back at the sky and answered in a monotone voice, "I had to get new bandages."

I heard him walk to me and I side glanced at him. He was obviously pissed, by the way he scowled at me. He lowered himself to my level and growled, "I don't know who you are, but I don't trust you. You don't just find a person in the woods near death unless they're guilty of something. You better watch your back, you little-"

I raised my hand to stop him from talking, cutting him off. I turned to him and kept a calm face. "Look," I started off, keeping my cool, "I don't know what you think of me and, to be honest, I don't care. I don't even know who I used to be. All I know is my name, and that's because I just learned it. So, if you want to hate me, give a good reason why. Otherwise, it's invalid." I stood up and started to walk away, leaving him in shock. I stopped and turned to him, smirking. I added before walking inside, "By the way, your threat was weak."

Ticci-Toby POV

I came inside with Jeff, covered in blood. I looked and saw Kristi, Slenderman, Splendorman, and BEN in the living room. Usually Sally's in here, too, but where is she? "Hey, Slender," I said, looking around, "Where's Sally?" He pointed at the stairs and answered, "She's in her room. She hasn't come down in a while."

I nodded and went upstairs with Jeff. We were in front of Sally's room when I heard crying. I knocked on the door and asked, "Sally?" She didn't answer and we walked in, shocked at what we saw. Everything was a mess. Her dolls laid all over the place. Her fabrics were torn here and there. The messiest thing was Sally herself. Her hair was all over the place. Her face was covered in tears and her eyes were a big, puffy red. She was curled in a ball in the corner of her room. We went to her and kneeled to her height.

"Sally, what's wrong?" I asked, rubbing her back. She sniffled and pulled her knees closer, sobbing, "I-I-I miss M-Marie! S-She didn't d-d-do it!"

Jeff and I looked at each other. Jeff patted Sally on the back and said, "Look, we know she didn't do it. We don't think she would ever do that. We're going to figure out what happened and we'll bring her back. Does that sound like a plan?"

Sally looked up and wiped her eyes, sniffling. I wiped a tear and smiled, making the guard move up. "Stop crying," I said, "Marie wouldn't want to see you cry. She would want you to be smiling." She nodded and smiled, making us both smile. Well, making Jeff smile even more. Looks like we have a rescue mission.

Kristi's POV

I frowned at what I heard. Bring Marie back? I thought, going to my room. They're idiots. She's dead. Or is she..? I shook that thought out of my head. She has to be dead. I poisoned and stabbed her. How isn't she dead? I sat on the bed and looked in the mirror. My brown hair was in a messy bun and my eyes looked dull, probably from lack of sleep. The door opened and Slenderman came in, closing the door behind him. "How're you doing, Kristi?" he asked, obviously concerned.

I looked at my hands and answered in a fake, scared voice, "I'm fine, Slendy. I just still can't believe... my own daughter..." I made my eyes water up, making Slenderman hug me. He shushed me and said reassuringly, "Don't worry. You're safe now."

I hugged back and smiled to myself. He must've missed me so much that he will believe in everything I say. He let go and kissed my forehead (which made me wonder how), rubbing my back. "Goodnight, dear," he said, leaving me by myself. "I have to finish work." I nodded in understanding and laid in bed, closing my eyes. When I heard the door close, my phone buzzed. I grabbed it and read:

.Uoy rof noissim wen a evah I.

I sighed. What does he want me to do now? As if he knew, he added to it.

.Ydaerla detcepsus era uoY. .Ffej dna ybot iccit no eye na peeK.

I rolled my eyes. He's always paranoid. Can't he just see that I'm great at my job? Nonetheless, I replied back and put my phone away. I closed my eyes and remembered what Jeff said. You'll bring Marie back, huh? Well, whatever you do, bring a body bag with you.
