Gone
Asriel POV
I woke up and stretched reenergized. I smiled as reached over to hug Frisk but all I felt was empty air. To my horror she was gone. I jumped out of the bed and squeezed into some jeans as quick as I could. I ran out of the room and into the hallway. My dad, Undyne and Alphys were walking out of their rooms. I ran up to them. Undyne noticed me panicking. "What's the matter Asriel?" "Frisk's missing have you seen her?" I looked passed them but no one was there. Asgore looked to Undyne who looked at Alphys. "We didn't hear her, no." Alphys said. I bit the inside of my cheek. "Let's try to find her then!" I snapped. Everyone looked at me strangely. "Asriel calm down."
Undyne tried to put her hand on my shoulder but I stepped back. "I can't loose someone I care about more than anything again." My sadness turned to anger. When I looked up everyone was looking at me like I was a different person. I looked down at my legs and my clothes turned to a black robe with a delta run on it. It felt like more weight was added to my head. I touched my horns that had just grown three inches. "Asriel... Y-you're." Alphys started. "No! My hyper-death form! But how! Something else to add to my problems. I can't just turn into this form without any warning or have it activate by emotion." I focused and shut out the world as I became my normal self again. Alphys scratched her head. "I should analyze and find out what's going on as soon as possible. I'll get back to you on it Asriel." Alphys walked into her room that looked more like a lab with the testing tubes, liquids and other science stuff. I grit my teeth. "We need to find Frisk. Now." I demanded. "Asriel you need to calm down. We-" Undyne started. "I need to find her now!" I lunged at Undyne out of anger then there was a poke on my neck. The world flipped sideways and I started to see double, triple, quadruple vision as the world blurred. A very disoriented Alphys said. "I'm sorry Asriel. You need to calm down. You should wake up-- bbbllliiiiinnnn abbbbou...- aaaa hurrrr." Her voice got blurred out. I started to giggle deep from my chest. It turned into a laugh. I bellowed with hysterical laughter. "You sound funny!" I rubbed my eyes. "I feel grrreaaaat!" I yelled and blacked out falling into Undynes arms. She linked her arms under my armpits and dragged me towards my room.

I woke curled in a ball with my knees against my chest and my arms wrapped around my knees. I yawned and sat up realizing my mission. I ran to the door and tried to force it open. It didn't budge. I groaned in frustration. I kicked it. No movement. "Damnit!!" I punched and kicked at the door moaning in frustration. "I can't leave?!" I pressed my hands to my face dragging them down. I walked over and flopped onto the bed screaming into my pillow. I sat up. "Alphys let me out!" I got up and walked to the door like a dog waits for its owner to come home. But no one was going to come for a while. I was cadged in. I pounded my fists to the door and left them there then set my forehead against the door. "Frisk." I said her name longingly. "Where are you. Come back to me." I squeezed my eyes closed. "I need you more than ever." I pressed my back against the door and slowly slid down to the floor setting my head in my lap. I didn't realize how much time must have passed until someone came in with food. I glared at my father. "So you're going to cage mean like I'm a fucking animal huh?" I was more pissed this time. "Asriel you need to understand-"
"Just give me food and get out." Before my father could say anything I grabbed the tray of meat and vegetables then pushed him out and shut the door. It clicked locking itself. I ate my food then paced until my legs hurt. I collapsed on my bed and fell asleep. I woke up at 4 a.m. wide awake. "I need to get out of here." I walked to the door and pushed it. Still nothing. I grit my teeth. "Before I do this in need to pack my bags." I walked to Frisk's backpack and stuffed it with everything I could use that was in the room. Blankets, clothes, other things I didn't pay attention to, my phone then I zipped the leather bag. "I know I promised myself that I would never do this again but it's for Frisk."
I let my body take on my hyper-death form and summoned my Chaos Blaster. I shot out of it directed at the door denting it and then when the gun was fueled enough I shot a rainbow beam out of it destroying the door. I transformed out ran out the room. Sirens wailed and I ran into the lobby then out the open door into the night. "Frisk. I'm going to find you." The sirens grew quieter and quieter until disappearing into the distance.
*****
It's been about an hour since I set off. I was cold. Hungry. And couldn't go back. I had an idea of where she went, but I wasn't sure. Something rustled in the bushes. I pulled out my gun when I heard clanks and rattles and dove behind a tree. I scraped my hands and knees but didn't take note of it. When the rattling was close I held the gun to my chest and pointed it in the air. The metal was cold even though the fur on my hands. I peaked out from behind the tree and a bullet grazed the bark on tree and then nearly hit me. I ducked and rolled coming up on one knee and shot the traitor in black armor. He fell to his knees and crumpled to the ground. I slid the gun under my waist in my jeans again and stood up. "Why do all these guys have armor." I asked myself walking towards him cautiously. One wrong move if he was alive I would be dead. When I was sure he was dead I sprinted past him and made my way deeper into the dark and bitter cold forest. I ran until I couldn't breath. My lungs burned in intense exasperation
and my legs hurt like I was shit. I had to keep moving. It's all for Frisk, I reminded myself. I looked around to gather information on my surroundings. In the distance a small pond sat untouched and still. Moonlight bounced off the gentle water making it glitter. It was so clean and clear you could see the rocks on the bottom. I walked over to it and stared into the water. I saw my reflection. I didn't look like Asriel. My once white fur was dirty and tangled I had small cuts that would heal and I had a tired beyond belief expression. I sighed. "So this is what I've become." I was reminded of old memories. Eating butterscotch-cinnamon pie, playing outside as a kid without a care in the world, embracing Frisk, her comforting me in all hard times. All those times aren't possible now. All because of her. Chara. She took it all away from me. I never did anything to her and all she's done for me was use me and bring me down since we became distant. I had to get rid of her. I had to kill her for my revenge. I felt everyone's heart beating together, all beating for one thing. Kill Chara. I squeezed my fists until I knew my knuckles were changing colors. Tears ran down my face hot and steamy. Family, memories, lives, gone. I wished I was dead. Sometimes my life wasn't worth living and this was one of those times. But there were hundred times more reasons to live. I pulled myself together and stood up. It was time to be strong. It was time to become the new Asriel. Rising from the ashes.
I found new strength as I worked my way through the night. I don't know where it came from or how but it was the last push I needed. Sticks snapped under my feet and strong winds blew my fur into wads. I emerged from the forest and the rebel base looking the same as the last time strut into view with rebels. "I'll shoot them all." I loaded my gun and click bullets one by one into the chamber. BANG. One down five more to go. People looked around confused. The one unlucky traitor saw me coming when it was to late. BANG! Another one down. People drew their guns. "Give up goat! You're outnumbered." A tall human said. He had long wavy brown hair and hard blue eyes. I shot. He fell. The last two monsters closed in around me. An Whimsun and Froggit. They looked angry. I heard gunshots but I didn't stop. I ducked and rolled coming up and shooting Whimsun. He fell to the ground. The other bullet grazed Froggits shoulder. He cried in pain. "Take it like a man." I said coldly shooting him. I just took on five people at once. I wondered if Frisk did if I was right and she came here. I ran to the building and threw myself into the metal door separating me from the night and shelter. The door swung open and I too my surprise when I ran in people and monsters were dead on the ground or slumped against a wall. There were gunshots and screams echoing from a far hallway. I ran towards the shouts to find more blood and bodies turning to dust. I remembered killing guards here. Their dust must have spread in their armor. I almost felt sorry but I kept moving. I looked around the long dark hallways before proceeding to the next. Where were you Frisk. Was I wrong? Were you not here after all. I was about to turn back before I heard a yelp of pain. It was Frisk. I screamed her name. "Get your hands off me! You can't take me prisoner again!" Her voice got louder as I came closer. "So close!" My voice strained as I sprinted at full force. I turned a corner almost running into a wall and saw Frisk being dragged away by two guards. "Get your hands off her!" I bellowed. Frisk whose eyes were closed opened her eyes wide staring at the ground. Her lip quivered and she slowly looked up. She would've jerked herself backwards if she wasn't being held so tightly by guards. "Asriel." She let out with all her breath. "Asriel." She said again. I continued sprinting with full force until my body came in contact with the guard on the left. I hit him so hard my teeth rattled and all the air was knocked from my body. He fell to the ground unconscious. Frisk teared up as she looked at me. She became frustrated. "Asriel stop!" She yelled. "I came to turn myself in so no one else got hurt! Please go back." All my anger, all my fear collected until it came out a scream. "I came because I don't want you to die!" The guard stared at us confused. He didn't move. "Asriel! If I just sacrifice myself then it can all be over!" Tears rolled down her face. "I'm am not. Losing you! You are DYING ON ME!" I screamed so loud it hurt my throat. Everything was silent. "I can't lose you. I can't lose someone else again." I looked down and I started to cry. No sound came out but tears did. "I love you and no one can damage that." I said. The guard dropped Frisk and backed away. I approached Frisk. "Please don't do this." I came closer to Frisk who scrambled to her feet. Her eyes softened and met with mine. "Asriel please go home." Frisk said. Pain filled my chest and I cried more than I ever had before. "Please. Don't make me go through this." I squeezed my eyes close. It didn't stop my tears. I sobbed from the back of my throat. "Asriel." Frisk said her voice cracking. I embraced her and fell to my knees in the middle of the hallway brining Frisk with me. She sat motionless for a few seconds and hugged me back. Squeezing harder and harder. "You won't lose me. I won't let it happen. I promise." She said. I laughed. My eyes red and puffy. "Last time you promised something you went missing." I sniffed. "This time I'm serious, baby. I'll never leave again. All the heartache and pain these people have created. All we've lost. We can't have it any more." She dug her fingers into my back. "I love you Asriel." I squeezed Frisk. "I love you Frisk." "Oh my god." I looked up. A crowd was formed around us. I let my head fall against Frisks shoulder. "Don't look up." I said. Frisk sighed. "I already saw them." "We're not going to hurt you." Someone said from in the crowd. "Huh?" I was confused. "We didn't know we caused so much pain. Please is there anything we can do to help?" I grinned. "Help us break out and win this war." There where whoops and yells. "Let's go!" Frisk yelled jumping to her feet. I stood up and jogged forward.
