You walk to the kitchen, grabbing a bag of chips. Dan was currently making videos in his bedroom, so you were left bored in the living room.
"Hello internet," you hear him start, even though the door was closed. "Today, I'll be talking about love."
Your attention completely turns to him once he said love. Quickly rushing to the living room, you listen in. Even though you'd have to watch it over again when he's editing it, you might as well here it then and there.
"Love is a pretty amazing thing if you look at it. I mean, yeah, PDA is over-doing it, but love in general is great. Loving someone is literally the best thing you could do. It makes someone feel a certain type of way that only you can impact onto them, you know?"
Biting into another chip, you soon realize this video is about you.
"Cutting that out," you hear him laugh.
"Love is... love is something... love.."
"Okay. Love is an amazing... shit."
You laugh. Standing up from the couch, you walk to his room.
"Having difficulties?" you ask, smiling.
He laughed. "Difficulties? Psssh. No."
You roll your eyes and close the door behind you, sitting on his office chair. "Now try."
He takes a deep breath, starting over.
"Hello internet. Today I'll be talking about love."
He looked over at you, then back at the camera.
"Love is pretty amazing if you think about it. It makes someone feel a certain way that only you can create. It's sort of like a drug almost... you can't get enough it. Everyone in this huge spectrum of this universe needs love. It basically holds the world together; if we are thinking about the emotional part. Everything else is world is messed up."
You laugh, agreeing with him.
"Saying those three words, 'I love you,' can make someone upset, or mad, or simply happy. Love has so many emotions tied onto it," he continued. "And it's something everyone has. You can give love to anyone."
He kept rambling on, saying things you didn't even know he felt about so strongly. As he was making another point, you hear a beep come from his camera.
He sighs, standing up. "My memory card's full."
"I didn't know you felt so strongly about love," you say as he takes out the card.
"Well, you were my inspiration," he replied. You smile to yourself.
"Now, let's play Mario Kart," he says running to the living room. You follow, calling dibs on the Cat Cruiser.
What? It's a cool car. A COOL CAT CAR! I'll leave. Bye.
