Pranks
Today you were going over to your friend Phil's house for a special surprise. You dressed nicely, hoping your major crush Dan Howell was going to be there since they're roommates.
"Phil? You there?" you asks from behind his front door.
"Be there in a minute, Y/N!" he replies. You patiently wait for him to answer the door, but he took an awful long while.
"Is this a bad time?" you say a bit loudly. Just then, Dan answered the door.
"Y/N! Nice to see you again!" he greets you, engulfing you in a hug.
"Hi," you reply, your answer muffled in his shoulder. He lets you in, closing the door behind you. The place looked neat, neater than usual.
"Really tighten up the place!" you say sitting on the couch."
"You can say that," Dan replied sitting beside you. You both sat in silence, waiting for Phil. Right on cue, the troublemaker walked out from the back room carrying a camera and tripod.
"Okay, so we are making a video!" Phil exclaimed placing the tripod in place.
"A video?" you say, sitting up in your seat.
"Yeah, it'll be fun, I promise!" Dan added in. You had your own YouTube channel, which had 3,000,000 subscribers, so you weren't that unfamiliar of videos.
"I'm not even dressed properly! And not to mention no makeup! PLUS I DON'T HAVE MY HAIR FIXED!" you say frantically.
"My viewers won't care," Phil said straightening the camera. You shrug and slouch in your seat. After everything was sat up, he wanted to shoot a 'Who Knows Me Better?' video.
"Hey guys! So today I'm here with Y/N and Dan." You smile and wave at the camera when he said your name.
"I wanted to see who knew me better. My best friend, or his girlfriend!" he finished. Your heart dropped.
"Girlfriend?" you exclaimed unintentionally.
"Okay, first question, what month was I born in?" he asked the camera, completely ignoring your question.
"January, obviously," Dan answered smiling, showing his dimples.
"Wait, backtrack, GIRLFRIEND?" you ask Phil, desperately wanting an answer.
"Correct Dan! Y/N, you need to step up your trivia experience!" Phil said high-fiving Dan.
"Guys, tell me whats going on!" you said irritated.
"Second question, what's my favourite colour?" he said once again ignoring your question completely. Throughly done with this nonsense, you get up from your seat and begin going to the door.
"WE PRANKED YOU!" they both chanted, following you.
"What?" you reply turning around. Dan was holding a camera while Phil was explaining everything.
"I wanted to see what you would do if I called you Dan's girlfriend, since he fancies you," he said smiling. You look over at Dan, whose face was blank with surprise.
"Phil!" he scolded turning off the camera. Phil just laughed and walked back to the lounge, leaving you and Dan at the doorway.
"So...um...sorry about that..." he says, blushing.
"No worries," you reply stepping away from the door. Silence.
"So you fancy me, eh?" you ventured to ask. He nodded, unconsciously smiling. You walked over and hugged him.
"I fancy you too, actually," you say to him. He laughs and hugs back. Maybe this prank wasn't so bad after all.
