Ice Cream
"Such a lovely day, huh, Y/N?" he said looking around the park.
"Yeah, it's is," you reply glaring at the trees. The blossoms were finally in bloom.
You notice an ice-cream shop down the walkway.
"Ice cream?" you ask him.
"Sure, love," he replied taking your hand with his. You both merrily walk down the pavement, smiling at the children playing on the swing-sets.
After the pleasant walk, you reach the shop. He quickly gets in front of you and opens the door.
"Why thank you," you said heading inside. The smell of fresh candies hit you once you stepped inside. There were so many colorful things.
"Welcome to Elderberries, how many I help you?" a lady greeted you.
Dan immediately orders for both of you.
"You'll love the chocolate swirl, promise," he said smiling at you. You nod, smiling back at him. While you wait for the ice-cream to be prepared, you examine the different flavors.
"Chocolate swirl and Vanilla?" the woman said a couple minutes later. Dan takes the towering ice-creams and pays the bill.
"The chocolate for the lady," he says handing you the cone. You take it, licking to see how it tastes.
"Good, isn't it?" he asks.
"Amazing," you reply taking another taste. You both chat for a while letting the time past by. Before you knew it, it was evening.
"We better get going," you say getting up. He nods and takes your hand.
The sunset was beautiful.
"This is an amazing view," you remark as you both stroll.
"Not as amazing as you," he replies smiling. You blush, looking down at your shoes.
