Expectant Father & Their Love Story

"Okay, so what is the first rule of this relationship?" Elliot questioned.

Olivia was laying down in the backseat, right after they left from Robin's Diner she immediately felt sick not because of the food but because she was pregnant, she was having morning sickness. Olivia learned over the internet that morning sickness didn't occur just in the morning but any time in the day.

"Be nice to me." She answered, not having the energy to answer properly.

"I am so nice to you, Liv." He retorted, knowing it was half true.

She rolled her eyes.

"No kissing on the lips." He made the first rule, sticking up his finger.

"That's going to be hard on you." She teased.

"Oh shut your mouth."

She laughed lightly. "Call me honey."

He cocked an eyebrow at her randomness. "Call me best decision of my life." Elliot joked as he wiggled his eyebrows.

"More like worst best friend ever."

Once they stopped at the stop sign, he turned to look at her. "You can't say that because I am clearly saving your life pretending to be your boyfriend."

She swatted him away and closed her eyes. "Whatever."

He then pushed on the gas and waited for her to say more.

"Okay, whats our story" She asked. "I'm sure people are going to ask us how we got together."

"It has a to be an amazing story that is beyond unrealistic like in the movies."

"How about you fell in love with me and then I fell on love with you. The end."

Elliot frowned. "We deserve a way better story than that."

Olivia let out a sigh and adjusted her position to feel more comfortable, she still felt extremely sick. "You think of a story then."

He remained quiet, thinking of a story. "We never liked one another until we were on one of our weekly dates. This date made us look at one another in a different way and when you dropped of me off home we had a deep conversation about what it would be like if we were a couple. That's when we both considered to try it out."

"And here we are in love and happy." Olivia finished his story, thinking that it was a good idea.

He quickly took his hands of the steering wheel and clapped. "Beautiful and believable."

She nodded.

"We know each other really well so we don't need to fix that, the only thing we need to practice is to act like a couple."

"We should get matching outfits." Olivia joked, knowing that Elliot hated the idea of matching.

He shook his head. "Don't make me puke."

She laughed lightly. "We would be so cute though."

"I'm breaking up with you."

"That's cool." She nonchalantly replied. "You've been a bad boyfriend anyway."

"I'm a better boyfriend than that loser Jack."

Olivia rolled her eyes, the sound of his name made her cringe. Biggest regret of her life was being with a guy like him.

They kept quiet for a couple of minutes. Since Olivia was laying down she had no idea where they were, she was starting to feel a little sleepy so she let her eyes slowly shut.

"How are you feeling, honey" He asked, putting emphasize on the nickname she wanted.

A smile formed on her lips. "That sounds funny when you say it but I'm still feel crappy. "

He chuckled and nodded, it did sound weird. "Get used to it."

"Is Liv okay?" Riley asked once she sat down in the passenger seat and her eyes made contact with the sleeping body.

Elliot shook his head. "She's just feeling really sick."

She buckled herself in and nodded. "So, hows taking care of preggo?"

He shrugged. "Its not too bad, nothing crazy."

She then reached into her bag and pulled out a wrapped gift. "This is for you." A smile formed on her face as she showcased it to him.

His eyebrow raised as he looked at the gift in her hands, he pulled the car over and stopped. "And where did you get the money for this?"

"I am old enough to get a job." She rolled her eyes and handed him the gift.

"When did you-"

"Just open the gift, Elliot." She interrupted him, a little annoyed with questions.

He was hesitant to take the gift from her hands but let out a sigh and took the gift from her hands, he examined the outside of it trying to guess what it was.

Riley rolled her eyes as she watched her brother.

Finally he pulled back the gift wrapper and revealed that it was a book. "The Expectant Father" He raised an eyebrow as he ran his hand over the hard cover book, it had a colorful striped button up shirt with colorful key toys on top of it. His heart suddenly dropped.

She smiled brightly. "Do you like it"

He didn't know what to say as his eyes were fixated on the book, guilt rose up in his body.

Riley nudged him once she saw his reaction. "You look like you saw ghost."

"Y-you shouldn't have, Riles." He finally answered, his eyes were filled with sadness once he looked over at his sister.

She raised an eyebrow. "I know that its going to be scary being a parent and all but you have us but most especially you have Liv." She told him as she wrapped her arm over his shoulder with a huge grin on her face.

He nodded and plastered a fake smile on his face. "Thanks Riles." He looked at her and kissed her cheek. "This is nice of you."

Riley shrugged, a smug smile on her face. "No biggie."

Elliot rolled his eyes at her cockiness. "Let's bring you home, Liv really needs some rest." He tossed the wrapper into the garbage and gave Riley the book.

"When are you going to let me drive?"

He pressed on the gas and laughed lightly. "You're growing up too fast, little sister."
