Chapter 7
Herme's POV
"Kakeldoodoldo" the rooster outside crocks
I wake up quickly and rush downstairs to see Uncle Larry and Auntie who is preparing breakfast.
"Well your already up." Auntie starts
"I am too!" Tracy yells As she rushed down the stairs. She slips and loses balance. She fall down the stairs, but I am already there and I somewhat catch her.
"Thanks batman." She says drowsily
"Well we should wake up your sisters so they can help me milk the cows." Uncle says
"Don't you usually do that really early?" I ask helping Tracy back on her feet.
"It is really early." Auntie says
"Oh." I say sheepishly
Uncle Larry stands up and walk upstairs. Me and Tracy sit down at the table and get ready to eat breakfast.
"So how did you sleep last night?" Auntie asks
"Fine." I say
As I eat my other sisters come down the stairs and by the time I'm done eating all the girls are downstairs.
"Well girls get ready because you are going to help me around the farm today." Uncle says
We all cheer and head up the old narrow stairs to get ready
It doesn't take long to get ready and I'm a couple of minutes we are outside and heading to the barn
We walk into the barn and Uncle Larry teaches us how to milk a cow
"Who wants to milk Bunny?" Uncle asks
"Bunny?" Cassie asks
"Yes your mother named her when we were young." Uncle says he is our mothers older brother. I'm not sure how much but it's not that much of an age difference.
"Oh oh Tracy Lu Freebush wants to go." Tracy says excited
"Your not Tracy Lu Freebush." Angela says
"Yes I am." Tracy says
"Anyway it's gracy not Tracy."
"Tracy Lu Freebush is ignoring you." Tracy yells
"Girls don't argue Tracy asked to go first so she will go first." Uncle says
"I didn't want to go first." Angela mumbles
Tracy cautiously walks up to Bunny and bends down, she does as Uncle Larry instructs.
"Like this?" She asks as Uncle tells her what to do
"No Tracy aim it down!" He exclaims
But it's too late Tracy squirts Uncle Larry and we all laugh
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to." Tracy says tearing up
"It's okay Tracy it's just milk." Uncle says
"Okay." Tracy says whiling away tears
Cassie walks up to Tracy, hugs her and speaks comforting words to her.
"Okay how about I set up the machines to milk the cows and then we move hay." Uncle offers
We all agree and walk out of the cow barn and head to the hay barn t wait for Uncle Larry.
