When we told everyone about the newly found exit, there were mixed reactions. Some were happy, excited to leave and find themselves. But some, not so much.

"If that's where the Grievers go at morning, then how do we know that there aren't hundreds of Grievers waiting for us down there?" Someone asked, actually making a point. "We can't be stuck here forever, let's just take the risk." I voiced out.

"You're back at it again, greenie?" Gally remarked, crossing his arms infront of him. "Stop it Gally, they actually found a way out!" Gally scoffed at the remarks. "Don't you see? We're all okay here, we don't have to leave!"

I noticed the sky getting darker by the minute, and while everyone was either defending Gally or Thomas, a bad feeling started to form in my gut. "Minho," I whispered, my heart frantically beating. He completely ignored me. "Minho, the walls...the walls aren't closing." I said, and this time, he looked down at me. "What?" He glanced at the walls, his eyes widening.

I looked around the Glade, and almost everyone has already noticed it. "It's not closing!" Someone shouted from afar. "This...this is all your fault!" Gally screamed, pointing an accusing finger at Thomas.

"Nicole," Minho said, finally talking to me. "Stay close to me, no matter what happens. Okay?" His voice was laced with fear, and no matter how much I wanted to sass him off, I found myself nodding at his command.

Noises started to come from inside the Maze, and everyone started to panic even more. I stood in place, completely frozen. I looked around me and everything was in chaos. Fires surrounded the Glade, and people were running, screaming for their lives. Is this going to be the end of me? The end of us?

The greatest fear of everyone started to come inside the walls. Grievers began to flood in, it's mechanical legs running fast in the open field.

"Nicole, let's go!" Minho shouted through the noise, grabbing my hand and leading me to a hut where some took refuge in.

Thomas, Newt, Chuck, and many others were there too. "Shuck! You're safe!" Thomas sighed, suddenly pulling me in for a hug. "Oh, uh yeah I'm okay." I said, awkwardly moving around in his arms.

"She's okay." Minho firmly stated, harshly pulling me by the arm. I looked up at Minho, noticing how his jaw kept clenching. I placed an unsure hand on his arm, and his gaze quickly dropped to me. He opened his mouth, about to say something when the roof suddenly collapsed, a Griever tail pushing through.

Minho wrapped his arms around me and turned around, the rubble falling on his back. He groaned in pain as more wood fell on him. "Minho!" I screamed, pulling him away from the mess. "Are you okay?" I asked, placing a hand on his face. "Minho? Does something hurt?" I asked again, trying to turn him around to check his back. He shook his head, his eyes filled with an emotion I couldn't quite decipher. "I'm okay. It's going to be okay." He whispered.

"Alby!" I heard Thomas scream. I quickly turned around, just in time to see Alby getting pulled out of our hiding place by a Griever. "No!" Minho shouted, running towards the Griever. I pulled his shirt from behind, stopping him.

Alby looked at Thomas and tried to smile. "Get them out for me." With tears threatening to fall from his eyes, Thomas nodded. Then Alby disappeared.

I approached Thomas and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Thomas..." I whispered. He shook my hand off and trudged outside. "Where are you going?" Chuck panicked, going after him.

Thomas ran outside, not really knowing where to go. Tears were flowing freely down his face, and I felt so sad for him. His eyes widened as he saw something on the ground, he quickly picked it up.

"Thomas!" I screamed as I realized what he was holding in his hands. "I need to remember!" He hissed before stabbing himself in the leg with the stinger. I ran towards him, catching him before he hit the ground. Teresa showed up beside me, injecting the syringe into his arm.

She looked so strong, but I know deep inside she's scared out of her mind. We all are.

We carried Thomas back inside, and just hoped for the best.

Hopefully, morning will come soon.
