"You're back early."
"I know, fuck off." Luke told Calum who had just made himself a sandwich. Luke now wanted a sandwich as well but he was too lazy to make it.
"What's got your panties in a twist?" Calum said with food in his mouth.
Even though Calum was Luke's best friend Luke just wasn't in the mood to talk to Calum. He just wanted to lay in his bed and cry. Not that he would cry but he wanted to. He thought it would make him feel better, that's what people in movies did.
"I said fuck off, alright." Luke told him as he walked away and into the room he was sharing with Calum. He hated that they were sharing it but there were only 3 rooms and it was Michael and Ashtons turn to get their own rooms. Calum could walk in any moment and Luke couldn't even tell him to leave, well he could tell Calum but Calum had the same right to be in the room as Luke did.
"Alright dickhead." Calum shouted back at Luke as he walked into his room and shut his door.
Luke flopped onto his bed and pulled out his phone to check to see if maybe Stevie had texted him. He doubted it and he was correct, they were both stubborn. He knew he'd been an asshole to Stevie and said a lot of untrue things to her that were rude and hurtful. However he did have a text from his Mum:
" Hey Luke, I haven't heard from you in a while - call me! xo "
Luke didn't want to call his Mum, they weren't close anymore. He hadn't talked to her in a while and he didn't want to. He hadn't seen in a long time as well, the last time he was in Australia he didn't even stay with his family. Luke stayed with Calum's, it was just too hard for him to go home.
He also had a text from his brother, Ben:
" Mum's been asking about you a lot, maybe you should call her. "
He didn't want to alienate his whole family so he did text his brothers back, his Dad wasn't talking to him so he really didn't have anyone else left. So he decided to text Ben back:
" Just tell her I'm somewhere where there is no cellular service. I'm still not ready. "
Luke knew he shouldn't be this distant from his family but he still wasn't ready to face reality when it came to his Mum. His phone buzzed a few seconds later and he looked at the text from Ben:
" Stop being an asshole and just call her Luke. "
Luke knew that no matter what he said to Ben, he'd always pressure him to talk to his Mum. But once again he wasn't ready for that, so Luke put his phone back away in his pocket after he turned it on silent.

"Hey Riley." Stevie said to her best friend as she entered their tent. She had just got back after she stormed off from Luke and she wasn't in a great mood. She was pissed at Luke for acting like a douche bag, but she was also upset at herself for liking himself as much as she did.
"Stevie! Where's Luke?" She asked Stevie as Riley saw that she was alone.
"I don't know." Stevie stated, she was still upset with him.
"What happened?" Riley asked as she raised an eyebrow. "Did he say something?"
"Say what?" Stevie questioned Riley. "Well all in all he was just being a really big asshole, we bumped into Matt and-"
"You saw Matt?" Riley interrupted Stevie.
"Yes..."
"How is he?" Riley wondered as she scratched the top of her hands.
"I don't know, he looked better. I didn't really get to talk to him because Luke was being such a dick." Stevie told her, it'd really been a long time since she'd seen Matt and the last time he was really messed up. Him and Jack were best friends and ever since Jack's death he'd gone crazy. A bit like Stevie did but that was after they'd broken up not after his death. Jack had written her a letter that she received after he died. It explained everything and it made Stevie stop doing irrational things. Jack was always the best thing about her, he brought out the best in her. She was better when he was there. That was defienetly the opposite of Luke, he didn't bring out the best in her. She was always reserved and scared when she was with Luke, she was scared that he'd have another fit and just freak out at her... again. But I guess that was it, she was done with Luke.
"Oh, that's too bad. Anyways sorry back to Luke... what'd he do?" Riley asked.
"He just can't stand it when anyone else is around us, he gets all jealous and its annoying. Like if we dated he can't just expect me to hang out with him and ONLY him." Stevie explained to Riley. Stevie knew that a lot of girls would love the idea of a jealous boyfriend but when they actually had one it was horrid.
"Date him?" RIley almost choked on the water she was drinking. "You really like him that much?" She was in total shock right now, Stevie hadn't liked a guy since Jack everyone knew that.
"I don't know. He's an asshole but I still like him. Why is that Riley?" Stevie put her hands into her face and groaned. She really didn't want to like Luke, but for some reason after all of this she still did.
"Because he's hot?" Riley suggested. "I'm not the person you should go to for boy advice, I always end up dating assholes." That was true, Riley had never dated a good guy as long as Stevie could remember and they'd been friends basically all of their life.
Before Stevie could answer she heard her phone ring and picked it up:
S: Hello?
T: Hey Steve, hows it going?
S: You called me at the worst time, just having a shitty day.
T: Hey watch your language Steve, whats wrong?
S: Ugh, just boys. Or a boy...
T: The boy? What's his name again?
S: Luke.
T: Ah Hemmings.
S: Ya how'd you-
T: What'd he do to you?
Stevie heard Tony's voice get really serious and she knew protective older brother mode had just switched on.
S: Nothing, he was just being to an asshole to Matt-
T: Matt's there?
S: God Tone, stop interrupting me.
T: Sorry, continue.
S: We bumped into Matt and Luke was such a dick to him and I'm not even quite sure why.
T: Maybe it's because he likes you?
S: I doubt it, being a jerk to all my friends won't make me like him. He was even being a dick to Riley!
T: Why what'd he do to her?
Tony's voice got really defensive again and Stevie wondered why.
S: Nothing, he was just rude, as usual.
T: Oh, maybe then this Luke character is a dick and this is a chance to cut ties with him?
S: Ya, maybe you're right Tone.
