"Wake up boobie."

Riley groaned before rolling over and rubbing her eyes.

"What time is it?" She asked Stevie. Riley put her hand onto her head and have herself a massage. Stevie reached for her phone to check the time.

"It's - oh shit." Stevie cussed which caused Riley to turn over and face her best friend.

"What? Did we miss someone?" Riley asked Stevie letting out a small groan.

The two of them had a tendency of sleeping in and missing a lot of important events. For instance they almost missed their high school graduation but luckily Stevie's brother, Tony, had woken them up just in time. Stevie knew Riley had a crush on Tony. Everyone had a crush on Tony, however he was a player so Stevie warned him to stay away from Riley. It was funny because she thought they'd make a really good couple but at the same time she didn't know what would happen if they broke up. She didn't want to have to choose between her best friend and brother.

Tony was known as being a player. Stevie accepted that. The only thing she couldn't take was when people called him "heartless" or a "jerk" because that was the last thing he was. He was there for Stevie no matter what. He was brilliant and always helped Stevie with her homework, back in high school. And when she used to go out partying she could call Tony at any time at night or in the morning and he would be on his way to get her. Even when he didn't have his car, he'd walk there pick her up and they'd walk home together. He really took care of her and she'd forever be grateful for that.

Jules on the other hand was Stevie's younger sister. She was distant from both Stevie and Tony. They were always really similar in high school: partying all the time. Whereas Jules was more into her studies. Stevie didn't mind, she wished she was more like Jules.

"Stevie?" Riley asked her, she'd zoned out.

"Sorry, I just have 6 missed calls from my Mum and 4 from Tone." Stevie notified Riley. "I was supposed to call them when we arrived but I forgot to because of..."

"Yeah. Shit. Call them now then." Riley suggested as Stevie picked up her phone and being to unzip their tent.

"Wait, you didn't tell me the time." Riley shouted after her.

"It's 10:32." She smiled at Riley before looking at her phone and debating who to call.

"Do you have any Advil by chance?" Riley asked her.

"Yeah. In the small pocket of my bag." Stevie replied.

She thought it'd be best to call Tony first so that he'd let her know if their Mum was still upset or not.

After a few rings Tony picked up.

"Hello?" His voice sounded groggily and Riley assumed he'd just woken up. Tony usually slept in, especially since he'd just finished exams he was free to do whatever he wanted. She actually begged him to come to Coachella with him but he refused by saying that he didn't want to interrupt Riley and Stevie's "bonding time."

"Hey, Tone. It's Stevie." She spoke into her phone. She heard muffling on the other side which confirmed her assumption that he was just getting out of bed.

"Yeah. I know loser, I have caller ID." He laughed. "How's it going?"

"It's good! Pretty exciting. I wish you came though." She told him honestly. They were the closest bunch of siblings she knew and she really missed her brother when he went to University. He'd only been back a few days before she had to leave for Coachella.

"I'm sure you'll have a great time without me." Tony chuckled. "Mum's been worried sick since you didn't call."

"Shit. I know sorry. I was just distracted by-"

"By?" Tony seemed interested and Stevie knew he was smirking on the other side of the phone. She knew her brother all too well.

"I didn't mean that-" But Tony cut her off again.

"Has Riley found another guy?" Tony asked, he seemed quite pissed.

"What no?" Stevie was confused. "We made a few friends though. Our seats on the coach got messed up and we ended up sitting next to strangers."

"Boys?" Tony seemed to be really intrigued and Stevie was curious as to why.

"Yeah. But whatever they're not interested in us." Stevie assured her brother she yawned a couple of times, causing Tony to laugh.

"Stevie, you're naïve as you ever were." Tony laughed before she heard a loud sound come from his side of the call.

"What was that?" She asked him.

"Fuck. Bollocks. I knocked over Jules' science project." Tony let out more cuss words.

"She's gonna be so pissed." Stevie laughed.

"I know. I've got to go Stevie. I have to fix this before Jules sees it." She could tell her put her on speaker because he started picking stuff off.

"Alright bye Tone." Stevie told him.

"Don't forget to call Mum!" He reminded her.

"Alright, I will. Love you."

"Love you too." And then he hung up.

After Stevie called her Mum and had gotten a huge lecture from her she returned back to the tent. Riley had gone back to sleep. Stevie noticed she was only in her bra and shorts which was weird.

Stevie slept in her underwear and a baggy shirt and normally Riley did as well. She shuffled it off and decided it'd be best to get some breakfast. That would surely wake Riley up. She walked over to a diner and got into line. It was quite long and we wasn't looking forward to the long wait.

"Stevie?" She heard a voice behind her say questionably.

Stevie turned around and faced the person who had a black fedora on and a ACDC singlet.

"Ashton." Stevie smiled at him. She was thankfully Luke wasn't with him otherwise it would be very awkward after he just left her last night.

"How was your sleep?" He asked her.

"My sleep?" She laughed, and Ashton shrugged. "It was OK. How was yours?"

"OK too. Sorry about running off last night." He told her. "Our mates just arrived a bit earlier."

"That's alright." She smiled at him, after all Luke was the one who dragged both of them away rudely. Ashton didn't do anything.

"What are you doing today?" He asked her.

"Just going to walk around and see some people. You?"

"Same." He said as they shifted forward in the line. There was a situation going on at the cash register and Stevie assumed it was an angry customer.

"I was wondering if you'd want to hang out or something." Ashton asked her nervously. Stevie could sense it.

"Yeah. That'd be cool." She replied to him.

"You could invite Riley too." He improvised. Stevie smiled in his concern for her best friend.

"It's alright. She has plans with people from our old school today. I was going to tag along but I'm much happier hanging out with you." Stevie smiled at Ashton.

"Alright, great."

-

"Maybe I should just wait outside..." Stevie suggested. Ashton insisted on her coming to where him and the rest of their friends were staying. It was basically a villa, which she knew cost a fortune. He'd walked her back to her tent and she'd gotten changed into more appropriate attire than her pyjamas. When Riley saw Stevie with Ashton she wiggled her eyebrows and Stevie brushed that off.

"No, don't be silly. You can come in." He pushed her.

Ashton unlocked the door and Stevie followed in behind him.

When they arrived in the kitchen the first thing she saw was a bare butt.

"Oh my." Stevie said turning around, not sure what to do. She was covering her eyes.

"Fuck. Calum." Ashton spoke and threw a spare cloth at him.

"I didn't know you were going to bring a girl back." Calum protested barely covering himself up.

Stevie turned back to face the boys as she assumed the naked boy, Calum had covered himself up properly. However he barely had.

"Calum this is Stevie. Stevie this is my idiot friend, Calum." Ashton shrugged.

"Oh so you're Stevie." Calum said walking over and putting his hand out for her to shake it as the other one held up the cloth around his private parts.

Stevie looked at Ashton because of the remark Calum made and Ashton only made a confused face.

"Anyways I apologize for my lack of clothing, I didn't know we were going to have visitors." He told her.

"It's alright." Stevie laughed at the whole situation.

Calum walked back over to the stove and somehow managed to drop a pot.

"Shit." He cursed.

"What the fuck?" A new voice said entering the room. "Man I have a massive hangover and you're being so fu-"

The voice stopped when Stevie turned and looked at him. Luke's eyes opened as he looked between her and Ashton. Stevie then looked down not being able to look at him.

"Hi." Luke muttered.

"Hi." Stevie answered back trying not to be rude.

"Well uhm." Ashton cleared his throat obviously noticing the awkward tension. "We're going to go to my room and then head out."

Luke still stared at Stevie, which made her very uncomfortable. She shuffled in her spot which was normal for her.

"Don't get up to any monkey business." Calum said as Ashton grabbed Stevie's hand and dragged her to his room.

Luke's glare followed them the whole way there.
