Chapter Thirty-One: Fear number Four!
Chapter Thirty-One!
I am still surronded by darkness, but as soon as I hear Eric's annoying voice I immediatly know what fear's comiing next. Slowly the scenary starts to form walls built around me, I saw a desk a mirror, people began to form slowly I knew where I was.
I was standing right in front of the Dauntless leaders. Behind me was a humangous crowd of all the Dauntless compound looking at me. There must've been at least five thousand people there. My heart began to thump against my chest.
I turned my head back to the Dauntless leaders. Eric, Max, and the other three Dauntless leaders. They all looked at me with anger in their eyes, all of them except for Eric. His look was pure amusement. Like this is the happiest momment of his life.
Looking at Eric reminds me of something, but I can't out my finger on it. I tap my chin in thought. I know that there's something that I'm forgetting, and something important.
Right!
This isn't real, I knew, and still know what fears are coming next. I never normally knew that! That's why something seemed so fishy.
I flash a wicked grin. There's one more thing that I remember. I made a strtegy, and now I know how I'm going to beat this fear. All that's left is waiting for the right moment to go into action!
Eric stand up, and walks twoards me, so that he's standing right infront of me.
"My beloved co-leaders of Dauntless. We all know what we're doing here. Christina, had recieved the lowest score, to possibly ever achieve in Dauntless!" He pauses for dramtic affect, and I hear several boos. "Because of that, she will be forced out of Dauntless! She is a disgrace to the name of Daun-"
"You're a disgrace!" I cut in, and knee him in his...special part!i
Eric tumbles to the ground, stomach, and face on the floor.
I out my foot on his back, the way i've seen the wrestlers in the Dauntless fight clubs do, when an aponent is knocked down.
At first there is complete silence, and then I hear a few cheers, then the entire crowd is cheering, and pumping their fists in the air.
I had just turned my fear into an accomplishment, even though it's not real, I still have an amazing feeling.
This time when the darkness begins to surrond me once again, I feel confident, and I flash another wicked grin, because now I can really turn things around, and become an offical member of Dauntless!
