Chapter Thirty: Fear Number Three!
Chapter Thirty!
After the first two fears, I'm not sure what awaits for me in my next fear. All I know is that I already hear my heart vibrate through my whole body. Just thinking about what's going to be in my next fer landscape scares me.
I wait nociously, when I realize that there's something wierd. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but there's something deffinatly off about this time. I foot starts tapping the floor, while I think. What can possibly be diferent?
That's when it hits me.....
In all the other fear landscapes i've been in I never actually knew that I was in my fear landscape, it all felt so authentic, but now I can tell that this is a virtual reality. This all remindes me of these silly horror stories my mother told me about. People called Divergent.
They are people who have a different type of a brain, one of the things I've heard about Divergent people is that they're aware during simulations. Is it possible that I am Divergent? I think horrifically. That's when I remember something else.
They are not real, my mother would just tell me those things to scare me every tie I did something out of place. I laugh inwardly, at my silliness.
I finally begin to calm down, when the ground starts to shake, and I hear a scream. I almost fall, but regain my balance, I look around to hear where the scream, was coming from, but I couldn't find anything it was still pitch black.
I hear another high pitched scream, and this time I immediatly reconignze the scream. Rose! I start to run, but then again the ground shakes beneath me. I tumble to the ground face first, my entire body impacs the ground. I feel a sting in my knee, but I ignore it.
I look up, and that's when I see the sun it's blinding me, that's when I realize, if I see sun, then there's no way that I'm in Dauntless anymore. I look around. That's when I feel the ground shake again. I hear thumps on the ground, Thump...thump...thumpi The noise gets louder, and that's when I see two people wearing black and white clothing, Candor, run twoards me.
I climb onto my hands and knees, I cover the sun off my eyes with one of my hands, and stabilize myself with the other. That's when I finally get a clear view, I'm in the Candor compound, and I'm also wearing a black and white outfit. I'm able to make out the two people, as they get closer, it's a boy and a girl.
The girl has light blonde hair, and piercing blue eyes, and the guy also has very light hair, and brown eyes, their feautres are the same, small nose, thin hair. I make them out to be relatives. The girls mouth opens when she sees me. That's when I make out what she's saying...help!
Then behind them I see another pair of people behind them, wearing black clothing obviously Dauntless. I'm so confused as to what's happening when I see the Dauntless pair both are holding weapons, which I make out to be guns.
Before I can even see who they are, they stop. They lift their guns and aim, before I notice it, I'm yelling for the couple to run.
The Dauntless couple aim, and then I hear a loud bang, then another one following quicly, and see the brother and sisster, slump to the ground, both of them dead. I stare horrigically as a big pool of blood, their blood starts to assend underneath them. I immediatly rise.
bang bang I hear, and see from afar the Dauntless couple fall to the floor. I react by my insticnt, and run twoards the dead bodies, I pass the brother and sister from Candor, and notice that they lie dead with their hands locked. Their eyes open, lifeless. I continue to run past them. twoards the Dauntless pair, I see two men, both covered in ink.
Both men look quite the same, dark skin, dark eyes. I reach for the first gun I see, always good to have somethig to protect yourself with. I pull out the bullet chamber, and notice that there are only five bullets left, they must have used it on other people.
I take the second gone, and empty out it's buletts, There are about fifteen. I fill them all in the first gun, I click the chamber into place, and run further into the compund.
I see the familiar buildings beging to form as I run. That when I see something horrifying. I see a bunch of armed people, some Dauntless, some Candor fiering at one another. I look around for Rose. When I see her, and my mother standing helplesly as a Dauntless women standing infront of them aims her gun. I run faster closer to the scene.
Rose yells again. Then when I feel like I'm close enough to shoot I stop, I raise my gun, I adjust it fast, and don't even hesitate when I kill the women, I hear a loud bang in my ears, then I see the women slump to the ground. Rose and my mother, begin to run away from me, and I follow them.
That's when I see a complete war. It's between the Candor and Dauntless. I see my fathher among the Candor.
As soon as I ascend, I see that everyone has stopped moving. They all stand still, and look at me. That's when I realize what I have do; I have to pick between Candor, and my family, and Dauntless my faction. I stand paralised, and keep twisting my head from left to right.
I hear my heart beat in my ears. What an I supposed to do pick Candor or Dauntless. That's when I hear a voice in my head. A very iratating voice, which later I reconigze as Erics' voice 'We take the pgrase "faction before blood" very seriously here...
That's when I make my desicion, and I see my cloth begin to change color into black, as I step twoaards the Dauntless, with determination. That's when the scenery begins to dissapear before my eyes, and I'm back into the darkness.
