Angel
Okay so I noticed that earlier in the story, Kayla and Melissa see each other at the farm. (She's A Dixon Alright) And I must have forgot while writing other chapters, so if you see that I messed up that Kayla is gone when she's supposed to be with us, just ignore it or something because if I'm gonna be honest, right now I'm too lasy and I'm busy with this chapter and the next and my other book (which will be posted soon !!!!) so... Yea... I'll edit this whole book later on, maybe in a week or so.

We were standing in front of two entry doors. I looked at Beth confused. She gave me the same look back.
I saw figures walk up to the door. I grabbed Beth's hand out of fear.
They walked through the doors, toward us. I noticed rick, my dad, carol, Sasha, Noah, and tyreese walk in with two officers. I looked at my dad and started shaking, resisting the urge to run up to him and hug him.
Where's Carl, Kayla, Judy, and everyone else? Rick would never leave Carl out of his sight, so they're probably okay.
"One of yours for one of mine." Dawn said, breaking the silence. They must have had a deal going on.
Rick came up to dawn with an officer, as another officer roughly grabbed my arm and brought me to rick. I hugged him as he brought me to the rest of the group. I ran up to my dad and hugged him. He hugged me back.
Rick pushed an officer towards dawn and dawn personally brought Beth to the group, then walked back to her people. Beth hugged rick. We all began to walk out the doors, when dawn stopped us.
"Now we just need Noah." Dawn said. Rick turned around.
"No. He wants to leave." Rick said.
"Noah was my ward. Beth took his place and now she's gone so now I want him back." Dawn said.
"I can go..." Noah said. Beth shook her head.
"The deal is done." Rick said, putting an arm in front of Noah.
"Guys, seriously... It's no problem." Noah said. He began to walk towards dawn.
"Wait!" Beth said. We both ran up to him and hugged him. Beth looked up at dawn. She took out a pair of scissors she was hiding in her cast on her arm.
"I get it now." Beth said, getting closer to dawn. Beth stabbed dawn with the scissors, but in her bullet-proof vest. I heard a gunshot and blood went all over me. I looked at Beth, who fell to the ground with blood pouring out of a gunshot in her head.
"BETH!" I screamed. Dad screamed in frustration and shot dawn. Noah held me back from running to Beth's lifeless body.
I finically got out of Noah's grasp and I fell to my knees beside Beth.
"No,no,no,no... Come one, Beth... Come one... NOO!" I cried. I grabbed her hand.
"Melissa..." Dr.Steven Edwards said. I looked up.
"Just LEAVE! GET AWAY FROM ME! YOU MADE ME KILL A MAN AND NOW YOUR PEOPLE KILLED BETH!" I screamed. I burst into tears.
"Melissa... We gotta go..." Rick placed a Hand on my shoulder while dad picked up Beth's body.
I stood up and felt dizzy again. I stumbled but rick caught me.
"Thanks..." I mumbled. Everyone was teary-eyed and crying. I looked at my clothes and noticed all of Beth's blood all over me. I looked back at the shocked group of people who worked for dawn, then back to Beth's blood that was on my clothes.
"I-I need new clothes..." I chocked. Rick nodded and hugged me, still walking. I looked at my feet.
I knew we were outside when I saw the gravel on the ground. I heard Maggie run towards us, exited to see her sister...
"Beth!" She smiled. I looked up at her and saw her smile face. My dad walked out with Beth in his arms.
"Beth?!" She cried and fell to the ground. I looked at my clothes, full of Beth's blood. I cried even more. I looked up and saw Carl running to me. He hugged me tight as I cried into his chest.
"They killed her!" I cried. Carl hugged me tighter.
"I know... I know..." He mumbled. I could tell he was trying not to cry. I let go of him.
"Melissa, we've gotta go..." My dad said. I shook my head.
"I promised... I promised we would make of out of there alive... I promised, I promised-"
"Mel, you've gotta stop putting the blame on yourself..." Dad said.
"She's gone!" I yelled. I felt dizzy again. I fell to my knees and cried. Carl ran up to me and pulled me close.
Carls POV
I can't believe Beth is gone...
I saw Melissa hyperventilate and drop to her knees. I ran up to her and hugged her. Her breathing was rapid.
Soon, her body went limp as her breathing got slower.
"Melissa?" I asked. When she didn't answer, I began to panic.
"Daryl... Wh-what's wrong..?" I asked. He ran up to her.
"She must've passed out. She's done it a bunch of times before. Whoever she'd get upset or something, she'd just pass out. Should be fine..." Daryl sighed. I nodded. He sat down and put his head in his hands. I looked around at the group.
Broken.
One word that describes this group right now. Broken.
So many people have died since this started.

So many other people, too... It's really depressing to even think about.
I snapped back to reality and found myself staring at Melissa- who is still passed out.
I didn't notice I was crying until a tear landed on Melissa's shoulder. I wiped my eyes and sniffled.
Daryl came over and took Melissa from my arms, sitting against the fire truck with her in his lap. I smiled. They have an up breakable bond. Nothing can ruin their father-daughter relationship... Me and my dad... Let's just say we have our differences. We don't always get along.
I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I turned around and saw my dad. He also had blood on him- but not as much as Melissa.
"Hey, dad." I sighed.
"How you doing with...Beth..?" He asked. I shrugged.
"She's...gone..." I looked over at Maggie, who was still crouched down beside Beth's body, sobbing uncontrollably. I looked at Daryl, who was cradling Melissa in his arms and looking at Beth's body, teary-eyed. I looked up at my dad. He still looked shocked about her death. It must have been so sudden. I looked at Glenn. His face still showed shock and sadness as he was trying to comfort Maggie. Everybody was effected by her loss.
Daryl's POV
I heard Melissa's breathing patterns change as she sat up.
"Hey, sleepyhead." I half-smiled. She looked at me.
"I had the worst dream...me and Beth were kidnapped at this...this hospital, then when you guys came she was sho-" she looked around in realization. She looked down at her blood-covered clothes. She looked up at me, not moving anything but her head, and there were tears brimming her eyes.
"Don't cry...hey, hey, hey... C'mon..." I whispered. She sniffled and sucked in a shaky breath, wiping tears away from her eyes. I pulled her close to me as she struggled to keep her tears in.
"Crying won't help." She chocked out. I nodded.
"But sometimes you need to. It's just life." I whispered.
"Crying won't bring her back..." She said.
"Melissa?" Kayla walked up to us. She looked up.
"H-hey, Kayla." She said. She stood up and hugged her.

Me and Carl are lying down on sleeping bags in the road. We're staying near the woods until we figure out somewhere to go- which is what all the adult guys are arguing about, well, except for Eugene and Gabriel.
It has to be at least three in the morning, and mostly everyone is sleeping. It's really cold, it must be around the end of fall, and I'm in just a long sleeved shirt and jeans.
"You cold?" Carl sleepily asked. I nodded, rubbing my arm to attempt to warm myself up. He sat up and went throughout his bag, pulling out a navy blue sweatshirt.
"It was my dad's, but I kinda took it once... Here." He handed it to me. It had the words 'sheriffs dept.' on it. I put it on. It was a little big. It went down past my fingertips, and just below my hips. I thanked him.
"But you'll be cold..." I said. He shook his head.
"I'll be fine." He laid back down, wrapping his arms around me, bringing me closer to him. I snuggled up to him.
"Okay." I said.
"How're you doing?" He asked.
"Still can't believe she's actually gone. It all happened so fast... One minute we were hugging Noah," I felt Carl tense up at his name. "Then she walked up to Dawn- the leader, I guess- and tried to stab her, but only got her vest. Then I saw Beth's blood splatter everywhere... She shot her in the head..." I sniffled. He nodded.
"Why were you hugging noAh?" He asked.
"Don't worry, dawn tried to take him back, so we hugged him goodbye.him and Beth were really close... He helped us try to escape." I said. He nodded.
"Okay." He said. I smiled and cuddled up to him. He kissed my head.
"Goodnight, angel." He mumbled. I smiled slightly.
"Goodnight." I smiled. I closed my eyes and sleep soon took over.

OMG guys sorry for the huge wait. But I'm not gonna be updating agIn until Sunday because that's when the new episode of twd comes on!!! I'm so exited!!! I can't wait to see Carl omg and Daryl and rick and agh okay bye walkerbait!
