Photos and Frosting
"Hey ba-" Taylor stopped suddenly as she noticed her girlfriend was reading one of her NYU books. Taylor took a minute to appreciate Karlie's beauty. From her very, very long legs to the way her eyebrows creased while she concentrated on the book.
An idea popped into her head and she quietly grabbed her Polaroid camera. Lifting the old fashioned device to her eye she snapped a picture of her love.
Karlie looked up, startled by the flash of the camera, "Taylor! how long have you been in here?"
"Long enough." Taylor smirked, leaning down and placing a kiss on Karlie's head. "How's the studying going, my genius college student girlfriend?" Taylor asked, smiling.
"Flattering will get you nowhere babe, but it's going great, I just have a few more pages to read." The younger girl answered, gesturing to the book pages.
"Great, I'm going to find a place to put this picture, I think it's my favorite one so far." Taylor said, admiring the photograph in her hand.
"I forgot you snuck a picture, I'm paid to have my photo taken, you can always ask if you want one." Karlie replied, winking at her girlfriend.
"You're so much cuter when you're not trying. I'll be back in a sec, I'll bring you some cookies," the shorter girl said, walking out to find a place to put the picture, leaving her girlfriend to finish her reading.
"I couldn't find any cookies but I did find some cake so I brought some of that for us to share instead." Taylor explained as she walked into the room where Karlie was just finishing up on her reading.
"Yay you're back, and you brought food." Karlie said, kissing Taylor's cheek when the older girl sat next to her on the bed.
"Yes I did." Taylor laughed at her girlfriend's eagerness to eat.
The two girls sat in silence eating the cake for a moment before Karlie began to feed a piece to Taylor, who fed a piece to Karlie in return. Soon enough all of it was gone and they were still feeding each other.
Karlie saw Taylor smirk and next thing she knew there was frosting on her nose.
"Hey! you got it all over my nose," Karlie exclaimed as Taylor stood up to make her escape.
"That was the goal." Taylor giggled.
At this Karlie jumped up and used Taylor's laughter to her advantage, quickly catching up with the girl.
"You know it's not polite to play with your food." Karlie said in a mock motherly voice.
"I know babe, but thanks for reminding me." Taylor responded, laughing at Karlie's fake stern voice.
Karlie grabbed Taylor's wrist before she could walk away. Pulling Taylor close to her, she said, "I love you Taylor." before rubbing noses with Taylor, causing the frosting to spread onto Taylor as well.
With their foreheads pressed together, both girls smiled, their eyes glowing with love and joy, and Taylor whispered,
"I love you too Karlie."
