Harmony
"Jay why you just got him sitting here he's obviously done eating" I laughed seeing how annoyed Eric looked.
"The boy is one he is okay" Jay said not looking up from his phone. I shook my head cleaning him up and put him down as Khalif came crawling into the kitchen babbling.
"It's getting late I'm about to head home and make sure Erica don't got all her hoe ass friends in my house"
"You something else man" I laughed as he grabbed their stuff.
"I'm out" He said picking up Eric.
"Be safe" I said closing the door behind him.
It's been a few months since Jamal left I talk to him every once in a while but I make sure to send pictures of Khalif everyday.
Khalif is 9 months now and crawling getting into everything.
"Come here baby" I said picking him up and decided to go in the living room. I placed him on his feet and held his arms trying to get him to walk.
My eyes went buck once I felt him move his feet on his own. I let his hands go and he did a couple steps before falling into my arms.
"Yay" I said sitting him down clapping he laughed and clapped with me.
I quickly grabbed my phone and called Jamal hoping he would answer.
He answered but I could hear a lot of commotion in the background you could tell it was a house full of guys.
"Wassup mamas" He spoke smiling at me.
"Khalif just took his first steps" I said happily.
"Stop playing" He laughed.
"I'm serious, watch" I said propping my phone up so he could see us.
"Karion come here" Jamal said then Karion appeared.
"Harmony! Khalif" He said with the biggest smile.
"Hey baby we miss you" I said standing Khalif up.
Khalif got excited once he heard Jamal and Karions voice.
"Y'all quite down" Jamal said to the people in the background.
I stood Khalif up then moved closer to my phone.
"Come here baby" I said and he stood there trying to keep his balance.
"Come here lil man" Jamal said and Khalif started wobbling towards me. I caught him before he fell.
"Ahh my baby" I screamed giving him kisses and he giggled.
I sat in front of the camera holding Khalif in my lap.
"Check him out" Jamal laughed.
"So when are you guys gonna come visit" Karion asked but before I could answer two boys appeared in the camera behind them one had dreads and the other one had waves.
"Wassup" They said.
"Wassup" I laughed.
"You must be Harmony" The one with dreads said.
"That's me" I smiled.
"Look don't mind them right now, if I buy y'all plane tickets you gone come out here this weekend" Jamal asked.
"This weekend isn't good"
"Why not" He asked.
"Because I already told Tay I would baby sit"
"Oh alright well look I gotta make a call I'm gonna talk to you in a little"
"Oh okay" I said kind of sad.
"Love y'all" Him and Karion said.
"Love y'all too" I said before he hung up.

"Hey dad" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"What you plan on doing today" He asked.
"I don't know probably just gonna go home and chill since you're snatching my baby from me" I rolled my eyes.
"I'm snatching all my grand baby's today" He said shrugging. "So get out my house"
"Wow bet bye" I said walking out the house after giving Khalif a kiss.

I've been in the house all day watching movies on social media eating I even went for a walk but I'm just so bored.
I laid down on my bed and just started crying I'm so lonely and bored it doesn't make any sense.
I heard my phone ringing and answered it seeing that it was Jamal.
"Why are you crying, what's wrong" He asked.
"I'm so bored" I cried throwing my head back.
"Girl if you don't shut your cry baby ass up"
"Don't do me" I said sitting up wiping my tears.
"Where's Khalif" He asked.
"With my Dad"
"Why you ain't go with none of your friends"
"Me and you both know I don't have any friends besides Jayla and Kanani and they both busy, Jay is busy my brothers are busy the only person that ever did stuff with me was you"
"Girl" He rolled his eyes.
"Come out here tomorrow"
"I don't know" I said.
"Matter fact I'm not asking you I'm telling you, I'm gonna buy your tickets right now" He said putting me on pause.
"How you just gonna tell me what I'm about to do"
"Just like I did"
"Whatever" I rolled my eyes.
"So what you been on" He asked as I sat there just looking at the paused screen.
"Nothing really I was thinking about finding a new manager so I can get back into modeling but I need to get in the gym first"
"What you need to get in the gym for" I could tell he was scrunching up his face.
"Because I gained so much weight after I had Khalif"
"You did not gain weight he just gave you some more hips and booty, that's a good thing"
"Shut up" I said rolling my eyes not wanting to talk about it anymore.
"But what y'all been up to"
"Nothing really I've been handling some business with my brothers and shit it's been bringing in some money"
"Jamal"
"What" He asked.
"I know you did not go down there to get back out into these streets, I thought you left that alone"
"Well that 9-5 wasn't keeping me happy so I gotta do what I gotta do" He said coming back on the camera.
"If you get Karion in that shit I'm hurting you"
"Chill out I'm not" He said getting comfortable. "So you been seeing anybody"
"No I'm done seeing people, I've came to realization that I'm gonna more than likely die alone" I said causing him to laugh.
"Yo I swear you're dramatic as hell Harmony" He shook his head causing me to crack a smile.
"I feel like I'm in high school again, I used to be up all night caking on the phone"
"I wasn't with the FaceTime on the phone bullshit I was more of the I'm on my way type of guy" He shrugged.
"I hear you" I laughed.
"But look mamas get some sleep because you got some packing to do in the morning and a flight to catch in the afternoon, I'll send you everything"
"Alright goodnight"
"Goodnight" He said then hung up the phone.
I put my phone on the charger then got under the covers and slowly fell asleep.
