Cuphead, Mugman and Elder Kettle's home, cottage ...

The fridge was wide open, with ice-cream dripping out of it onto the floor

-So let me get this straight... - Cuphead started to say, while, pan to the dining room, where Elder Kettle was reading a newspaper, and the brothers and Y/N had  backs facing each other, arms crossed - You expect me to believe that you "sleep-ate" an entire bowl of ice-cream without waking up? - he was asking Mugman, then asked Y/N - And you caught the attention of Cala Maria? But isn't she-

He couldn't finish, cause Y/N stopped him and said with serious tone in his voice:

- Don't you dare to finish that question!

- Well, you expect me to believe you did. - Mugman gave his brother the abswer, thdn to Y/N - - I'm not sure how to react, but... Congratulations, Y/N. I guess?

Cuphead got up in his face, spoon in hand

- And just who sleep eats with a spoon? - he asked, wanting to hear the abswer from brother

If anyone will ask, the answer will be simple and obvious: Cuphead and Mugman were arguing over the ice-cream, that Mugman sleep-ate during the night, using the spoon 

- People with manners. - was the answer from Mugman, he pushed Cuphead away 

- You're nothing but a common thief! - Cuphead told Mugman, he believed Mugman, his brother, is a thief 

He shoved Mugman out of his chair, leaving him stumbling backwards

- You're the thief! - Mugman said back, pushing Cuphead away

Both started to fight each other

Again 

Y/N sighed in disappointment 

He started to understand that aeeing these two fighting each other will soon become a tradition, If didn't became it already

- No, YOU! - Cuphead wasn't stopping to blame brother for "stealing" ice-cream 

- No, YOU! - Mugman said back 

Y/N could see and tell easily, that Elder Kettle, as both Cuphead and Mugman were fighting each other, started to lose his patience 

Elder Kettle, Y/N remembered perfectly, was warning the boys back then, when they had to deal with Baby Bottle, that they must do as obe of the two rules was saying: No fighting 

He grabbed the two by their handles, exclaiming:

- ENOUGH! - he set them down - You boys are family, Y/N s part of it too, no need to get bent out of shape over little stuff. Just let it be water under the bridge.

He so easily accepted the fact Cala Maria found Y/N interesting?

- Now, here's five bucks. - Elder Kettle placed it in Mugman's hands - And some pocket lint. - he placed the lint in Cuphead's hands - And - he looked at Y/N - here's some lucky charms - he gave three Lucky Charms into Y/N's hands - Now, go do something together; as brothers and friends 

But Cuphead wasn't hiding the fact he is disappointed and asked Elder Kettle:

- Why does he always get the five bucks? - he pounted at Mugman - And why we even need Lucky Charms? - he pojnted at the charns in Y/N's hands

- Um... - Y/N asked, raising an eyebrow - Cause Luck can help us to be lucky?

- And why does he always get the pocket lint? - Mugman asked, pointing at his brother 

It is strange and confusing can be, but Y/N can tell that Mugman expected to get yhe pocket lint and Cuphead - the bucks 

They started to fight each other, or better say, push each other, again

Elder Kettle to become annoyed, better say, angry

Y/N, not wasting time, left the house

Only he lwft the house, the cottage, heard Elder Kettle's voice:

- OUT!

While he was exclaiming this word, steam was coming out of his lid at the same time
