Chapter 14
I put my hand on the doorknob that would lead me into my home. It sat on the outskirts of Shinganshina district. It is where I lived with the love of my life, Levi. He was absolutely amazing and was a very kind person despite his cold looking exterior attitude. I loved him more than anything right now.
I walked in the house and set my basket of vegetables that I had collected from the garden on the counter. I started separating them when footsteps started running towards me from somewhere else inside the house.
"Eren!"
Levi jumped up into my arms and wrapped his around my neck and his legs around my waist. I stumbled backwards but stayed up on my feet. My hands wrapped themselves around Levi's back so he wouldn't fall.
"Hey Levi," I said.
He looked down at me since I held him slightly higher than myself. He smiled then kissed me and then returned to hugging me. He seemed really happy for some reason. He seemed to be crying but laughing at the same time.
"Hey you seem really happy," I said.
"It's because I am," he said.
"Why are you happy baby?"
He pulled away from the hug and looked down at me. His smiled wider than he had and then started crying again.
"It's persicely that reason."
I gave Levi a questioning look for I didn't know what he meant. Still, he smiled even brighter.
This was also the first time I noticed what Levi was actually wearing. He was wearing a light pink blouse that had sleeves that went mid way down his arms. This shirt was also accompanied by a pair of white shorts.
"What reason are you talking about?" I asked.
"Baby."
My eyes narrowed as I tried to think about what Levi was talking about. Knowing how things were between us, I probably looked like an idiot to Levi. He was also pretty sure that even if Levi was annoyed, he was too happy to show it to Eren.
Millions of things ran through my mind. Maybe we were going to go to the ocean finally or maybe we had gotten more money. I kept thinking and thinking of different scenarios and pushing them out of my head until one that seemed impossible came into my mind.
I looked up at Levi and my eyes widened.
"Are you serious?"
Levi nodded and started crying out of happiness again. I took one of my hands from Levi's back and placed it on his stomach. While I kept it there, I looked back up at him and he smiled even more...if that was possible. My arms then flew up and wrapped themselves around Levi. It was then my turn to start crying as tears of happiness came out of my eyes. I couldn't believe what was happening.
"Eren..."
Levi looked at me.
"Eren you are going to be a father."
I already knew this after all the hugging, smiling, and crying Levi and I just did. But hearing it come from Levi's mouth made it seem even more amazing.
Levi leaned down and placed his lips against mine. We kissed passionately and then continued to hug each other.
"Happy Mother's Day Levi," I said.
