Chapter 1
It was another day living in the Survey Corps Headquarters. Everyone is doing their daily routine of goofing off and not really doing anything productive. It was a day off after all. Everyone was resting for they had been training all week. They had been training for the upcoming mission in about two months. It was tough training but everyone knew that they had to train in order to survive.
I however am not resting. I am doing the best I can to clean the crap out of my dungeon room. I'm doing this on my own and with out orders. And I'm doing it just to impress...
"Jäger!"
I stand still then turn around. I see captain Levi standing there.
"Good Afternoon Sir!" I say quickly forming my salute.
"Jäger I thought I told you to not do anything today. Your supposed to be taking a day off like everyone else."
"Well s-sir I just wanted to impress you."
"And why is that?"
I start to blush. Oh shit. If he notices me blushing then my secret will no longer be a secret. And when I say a secret I mean my secret feelings.
"Well I'm not sure if I have left the best impression on you so far so I wanted to impress you by cleaning my room..."
"Jäger you went against my orders and that doesn't please me..."
Oh great I'm gonna get it. I'm so screwed.
"But the fact that you are cleaning does please me. And from what I can see here, you've done a pretty good job so far."
I relax at his statement. This is also the first time I notice his out fit. He is wearing the clothes he usually wears when he himself is cleaning.
"Sir why are you dressed like that?" I ask.
"Why do you think brat? I was cleaning."
"But you should be taking time off too. I mean you work so hard all the time and you need to rest yourself..."
"Eren just shut up."
I look at him with a stunned expression on my face. He just called me by my first name...he never does that. EVER!
"What's with that stupid expression on your face?"
I look at Levi.
"It's just that you called me Eren..."
"Well isn't that your name?"
"Yes it is but you never call me Eren. You always call me Jäger or brat. You never call me Eren."
Levi lets out a big sigh. I continue to watch him. He stands there looking like he is thinking he wants to say something important to me that he really doesn't want to say.
"Eren come here."
I walk over to where he is standing. He continues to avoid my eye sight. I question what he is doing. Then he makes a surprising move. He knocks me off of my feet but before I can completely fall to the floor, I feel him grab me around my waist and then grab my left hand. I'm absolutely stunned by this. My face says it all. It's a blushing mess of confusion pretty much. Levi just continues to hold me up while I continue to look at him in utter disbelief.
"There is no need for that kind of look."
That simple sentence is accompanied by a small smirk. I'm even more surprised like this. Captain Levi NEVER smiles. EVER!
"Y-you smiled..."
"No I didn't."
Before I can respond, I feel him press his lips against mine. My eyes widen at the sudden affection. But then I realize that he feels the same way about me that I do about him. He loves me. Mother fucking Captain Levi loves me. A insignificant little brat that just so happens to hold humanity's fate in his hands.
"C-captain..." I say as my face starts to turn a bright red.
"Levi. Just Levi."
"And you can call me Eren."
This time it isn't a smirk that crawls across Levi's lips. It's a genuine smile.
