Aili's POV
My mom just dropped me of at the school parking lot. And it's 6:20AM!
It's so freaking early, and I woke up at 4 today.
We're gonna be on the bus for about 4 to 5 hours, and I wanted to look pretty. What if I fall asleep and everyone starts staring at me?
That'd be awkward.
I could see Laura, and her posse standing next to buss, looking all pretty, waiting for them to open the bus so we can all get in.
I'm really excited for this trip really really excited.
Mainly cause I got paired with the best person ever!
I got paired with Ross. I know that is not possible, but there weren't enough girls, so I had to pair with a guy. And a couple other girls too.
At first I was like....hell no. But then I found out my pair was Ross, which made everything much better.
Laura doesn't know yet. But she is going to explode if she finds out.
Literally. Her brain, and eyes are gonna pop out of her head.
But that just the best part. God know what would happen after this trip. Ross would probably be in love with me.
The doors to the bus just opened, and everyone got in.
I saw Laura sitting next to Ross, and Chanel. And Ariana was sitting next to Hollie.
And the left side, I saw Dove and Raini sitting next to each other. There are 3 seats in every row, so I took the other seat next to them.
Aili: hey guys.
I put my suitcase away.
The girls stopped talking at looked at me.
Raini: so you......finally decided who you wanna be friends with?
Aili: Raini, don't be like that. If I knew Laura was whore I wouldn't have agreed to be friends.
Raini and dove just can't stop reminding me how they told me so.
They are actually really nice to have forgiven me after the way I treated them.
Raini: so...who are sharing a tent with?
Raini asked. I really don't want to say, cause then I won't stop smiling, and they are going to get weirded out.
Dove: I'm sharing with the worst person ever.
Aili: let me guess. Laura?
She just nodded.
Aili: how could you get so unlucky.
I look over that Laura and her group to find them talking and laughing. While Laura can't get her hands off of Ross.
What the thing with Ross and Laura? They've been at it for like.....months now, I've heard. When are they gonna break up already?
Ross is so freaking sexy. It's not even funny.....if I could only get my hand on him, that would be amazing.
Raini: uh....Aili. You've been staring at Ross and Laura for like 2 minutes.
Raini waves her hands in my face.
Aili: what does he see on her?
Dove:......who?
Face palm.
Aili: Ross....what does he see in her?.....apart from evil.
Dove: Aili.....you're not falling for Ross are you?
No. I'm not falling for him. I've already fallen for him.
How can you not?
Raini; you really wanna try to get Laura Marano's boyfriend?.....are you sure you wanna go down that road.
Aili: guys, I don't like him.
I take a long pause.
Aili: I love him.
I say, and both their eyes, and mouths widen.
How is that so shocking? I thought it was obvious.
Dove: you are in trouble. BIG trouble......that girl can make the whole school hate you if she wants to. Please don't mess with her Aili.
Remind me how these two used to be friend with Laura again?
Dove's POV
Aili: how were you two and Laura friends again?
Well....
We've been going to school for a week now since summer vacation. I really missed school, but just starting to hate it all over again.
8th grade is the worst. All the teachers are messed up, and absolutely nothing changed.
My best friend Raini and I just got our lunch and we're going to our usual table.
It was like our table. No one else sits there, and we sit there all the time.
Raini: who's that?
Raini asked. Pointing at a girl with brown hair. She looks about our age, and she looks kinda lost-- and scared.....because of the crowed.
Dove: hey! Brunette!
I called. She didn't know I was calling her at first but she saw me. She kinda gave us a confused face.
I waved at her and called her over to our table.
???: uh....hi.
Dove: hi! Come sit with us!
I pulled her arm to sit down. Which kinda scared her.
Raini: hey uh.....you're probably new.
???: well....I am.
She's funny.
Dove: well. I'm Dove Cameron, and this--
Raini: I'm Raini. Raini Rodriguez. I can introduce myself.....dove.
Raini glared at me.
Raini: and you're....?
???:....Laura Marano.
Awe. She's Italian. Thats cute!.....
I thought.
I don't know how....but it's cute.
We've been hanging with Laura for a couple of months after that, and we ended up being best friends.
She was really fun, and goofy, and nice. She was the best.
We kinda found her family kinda crazy at first. And she was like the only normal one.
There were these other 2 girls called Brittany and Jenifer.
They were the worst. They were always so pretty, and wore expensive clothes....and alway made others feel bad about them selves.
Laura hated them so much. And once, she actually stood up for herself when Brittany was being a bitch.
Laura: shut the fuck up! Brittany!
Laura yelled in the middle of the cafeteria, which shocked everyone.
Laura: I'm done with your crap. Both of you.
Brittany: says the girl that can't even afford a pair of converse.
Laura's family are actually very rich, and that's what Britannia didn't know.
Laura didn't really like to show off.
Laura: my family could buy your whole family, plus your last third generations.
Everyone OOOHHed.
Laura: oh. And minus $20 for the smelly breath.
They OOOHHHed again.
Brittany: $20?!
Laura: yeah. That's how much your worth!
I never really knew Laura had that in her. She's normally quiet and
calm....and quite shy.
I also remember the time when Laura told us that she liked Connor....but the thing is, that was while we were dating.
I know. We were acting all lovely dovey. I had no idea that she liked him. And I think I was kinda dumb to not realise.
Laura: alright alright alright!....I-I'm done. I can't do this. No more.
Laura said as soon as Connor left.
Dove: um....what are you talking about?
Raini and I gave her a confused look.
Laura: you....and him!!!
She didn't realise she was raising her voice.
Laura: I actually don't understand why you would do this to me.
Raini: do what?
Laura: I......I like Connor, okay!...and you know that.
When she said that, it's like my blood started to boil.
I got so pissed, I wanted to punch her.
Raini: Laura.....you can't just like your fri---
Laura: no!....I liked him way before you started dating.
I know. It's true. She's always been talking about how she liked Connor, but I liked him too.
Laura: it just gets so annoying some times. It's like your purposely trying to--
Dove: I know you like him, but I like him too. I've actually always liked him.
That wasn't a hundred percent true.
I guess when Connor asked me out at first, I kinda forgot that Laura liked him.
Since then, I guess......we just never made up.
Laura made new friends and....she changed. It was really weird at first. But I guess she just became more confident and.....yeah.
