The story sets in around 2010, and this book will lead up to BOOK TWO which will be about the characters surviving in the apocalypse. (But that is a few months away lol)
While this is a Rick Grimes fanfic, I will still add characters from the show such as, Daryl Dixon, Maggie, Glenn, Carol, Michonne, Carol, Tara, and others here in book one. While some of them won't be main characters, they might just show back up in book two.
