Chapter 8
It was 3:00. I was waiting outside with Kira. Plus, it was raining.
"Where's Scott? He's taking so long." Kira complained just as my phone vibrated.
It was a text message from Scott.
<From Scotty>
In the back alley of the school. A little help is needed😔
I told Kira what Scott texted me and we rushed to the back alley. What could Scott need help with?
As we approached the back way, our jaws immediately dropped.
Scott was being attacked by a man. The man was huge! And he had claws. His claws where glowing blue and his eyes were blue. He looked scary.
The man had Scott pinned up against the wall. How did Scott have time to text us?!
"Um....a little help here!" Scott yelled, seeing as we were just standing there and staring at the scene.
"Uh, sorry." Kira apologized as we prepared ourselves to fight the big man.
"Stay here. We dont know if your abilities are full-on working yet. You could get hurt." Kira tells me.
"I'm fine." I told her. "You're not." She says.
"Fine." I accepted, crossing my arms against my chest.
Kira took off her belt and it transformed into a sword. Whoa. That's so cool! I totally need one of those!
After watching Scott and Kira get totally beaten up, I couldn't just standing there and watch anymore.
I practiced what Derek taught me to do. He taught me to control my transformation until I really need it. Which is now.
I concentrated super hard and felt my eyes get hot. That means it's working!
I looked down to see my claws come out and I felt my fangs come out.
I smirked as I waited until the big guy wasn't facing me. I took the time to run over to him and claw at his back.
He gasped, turning around to look as me. He grabbed my hand but I just scratched his. He was bleeding excessively.
I was beating him, but that was until I fell and he picked me up with one hand, pushed me up against the wall, hard.
Scott and Kira were both on the floor, groaned and bleeding. I was probably bleeding too.
He held me by my throat and started choking me. I gasped for air.
Just then, a boy appeared in the alley. I had never seen him before. He looked familiar, but I don't think I know him.
The boy caught the big man off guard and made him fall down, punching him and clawing at him.
Looks like there's another werewolf in town.
I sat on the ground. That boy just saved my life. Props to him.
While the unknown boy was beating the guy up, it gave Scott a chance to recover. When he recovered, he walked over to the big guy and he started beating him up to.
Stiles and Isaac came into the alley. What were they doing here anyways?
"I don't like to kill people. So you've got 5 seconds to go." Scott told the man.
"I suggest you run." I said, standing up. "Fast." Stiles adds.
The big man took the opportunity and ran away.
Scott and Kira were both bleeding, but for some reason, everyone came to me. "Alex, are you okay?"
"I'm fine." I told them. "Why is the focus on me?" I ask.
"I told you to stay back. I told you that you could get hurt." Kira says. "I know, but he would've killed you guys. I saved you." I pointed out.
"Good point, but don't try it ever again."
We heard someone clear their throat. We looked to see the boy who helped us. He was a stranger, but he saved my life. And he was quite the eye candy if you ask me. ;)
"Who are you?" Scott asked him. "I don't expect you to remember me. I guess I do look a little different since the third grade." The boy said.
The third grade? Maybe I do know him.
"Theo?" Stiles asked and the boy smiled. "Theo?" I asked. There was no way that was Theo. Theo from the third grade. Wow. Look who glo'd up.
He used to go to school with us. Right, third grade. I used to have the biggest crush on him! And we were really close friends.
Whoa. I totally just remembered that. Maybe my memory is coming back. Awesome!
"You saved my life just now." I told him. "Thank you." I thanked him. "No problem." He says before a give him an unexpected hug. The hug was tight. I really missed him.
"I didn't think I'd ever see you again." I said while releasing him. "Me either. But here we are." He smiles.
"Why'd you come back?" Isaac asked in a disgusted tone. Rude.
"I heard there were two new alphas in town. When I heard the names Scott McCall and Alex Stilinski, I knew I had to come back."
