Immortal (Isaac Lahey Fanfic)

It's been awhile since I've been gone. It could be weeks or it could be months, I'm not even sure anymore. I left the house once I got attacked. The people who attacked me at the ice rink are back, and this time prepared. I have cuts and bruises all over my body, and I've been super weak. I've been on the run ever since. I slept high in the trees or in caves that I find that are hidden from humans eyes. I know what your thinking... Why don't you go back home? The thing is... I can't. I know how dangerous I can be, and I can't put the people in love in danger. I stopped my running, and sat down on the muddy ground covered by brown leaves. I leaned  my head on the rough bark of the tree. I was breathing so loudly, people from miles away can probably hear me. Ever since I've been stabbed, I've been running and it's making me weak that I have to take breaks often. That's all I've been doing... Sleep, run and eat when I can.

I don't know long I can keep this up before my body gives up on me. I haven't ate in days, not sure how many though. I got up from the muddy ground and ran in front of me. I couldn't waste any moment of the light I had to get away from them. They will find me again and when they do, they will kill me. I ran faster and faster just thinking of the terrible thought of it. The woods started turning blurry and I just saw different shades of green and brown all over the place and I fell down the edge of where the dirt stopped and I started rolling down the hill, and I was hitting branches and rocks, somehow  I avoided all the trees. I eventually stopped and I gasped as the pain kept increasing. Flashing lights reached to the ground and I was to weak to turn around to see where they came from. "Amber!" Someone yelled, but they sounded so familiar and the voiced echoed. The person got in front of my face and they where to blurry to tell who it was. "P-please don't hurt me." I said. Before the person could answer everything turned dark.

Beep...Beep...beep...

Oh my god I'm going to kill this buzzer thing. I opened my eyes to see a police officer. Before I could ask anything he left. Okay... Then. I looked around and saw a bunch of tubes in my arms, great the hopsital. I hate it here. Nothing good happens in the hospital, ever. The police officer came back with a nurse and I knew her. She was Scott's mom, Mellisa I believe.

"Hi Amber, I'm Mellisa. You have no broken bones, just a lot of brusing and exhaustion from lack of sleep, also a little underweight with lack of food, but you've been here since early last night so we gave you medication so you will heal. You can leave in a couple hours to be with your family. They couldn't be here when you where in your condition. Do you need anything?" She asked I shook my head no. "The cops are here to make sure your safe," I nodded my head and smiled and she left.

I just ignored the cop and fell back to sleep. I woke back up to see Allison. I smiled at her, so happy to see her, but she just looked angry at me. What's wrong with her? "Why are you here?" She said rudely.

"They took me here, they found me. What's wrong with you?" I asked her.

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with me, is that you are here. You don't belong here you are disgrace of this family." She said, she got even closer. "You don't kill werewolves and you are a supernatrual that is not suppose to be here. You need to leave, and never come back, or I will hunt you down and tell all the Argents what you are. Once you can leave you will never come back." She said. She threw me some clothes and my phone and left before I could say anything back.

My original thought was to leave again. I still can't control all of these powers and there are more to come. I grabbed the clothes that Allison threw at me and put on the black tank top. With a quarter sleeve jacket and black jeans, and combat boots. Well at least she got me something that I could move around good in.

I was pacing back and forth deciding what to do. Leaving would be better since I don't know how to control most of my powers, but at the same time I could protect my friends with the powers I do know and learn from my grandma or my aunt Laura. I wasn't really afraid of Allison, but I am afraid of them learning the truth. I could never leave Beacon hills I would hide in the shadows and still be here.

I never wanted to tell Gearad, Burt uncle Chris would probable understand. Gearad would kill me, even if I was his daughter child. The more I started thinking of this the more upset I came, and the more uncontrolled I got. Gosh I feel like that queen in Frozen. Flames appeared in my hands and I just closed my eyes for them to be gone and crossed my arms over my chest. Thank god the police officer is outside of my door that is closed. A knock came from the door and I stopped my pacing and looked over. The person opened the door and I saw it was Isaac.

"Hey." He said and gave me a hug. I awkwardly gave him a hug back.

"Not that I'm not glad that your here, but what are you doing here, It's a full moon tonight?" I asked him.

"Derek was worried about you, and wanted to make sure you where okay, and I was worried about you too. He said I can go check up on you." He said. I sat down in one of the uncomtable chairs.

"I won't stay here." I said not looking at him. What's the point of staying here when I can lead the hunters here that could hurt my friends.

"What do you mean you aren't staying here?" He asked surprised but also angry.

"You don't know what happened out there when I was gone. What I looked like, what I had to do, you will never know. I did terrible things that if you knew you wouldn't want to know me. And those people are a million times worse then the hunters here." I said.

"I'm the one that found you! I knew you where hurt cause you looked scared and were dying! I might know what you did or whatever, but I do know something worse then people think what happened. But, we can all take care of ourselves! You don't always have to be the hero Amber." He yelled.
I looked down and sighed. "But, I feel like I have to be." I whispered

He grabbed my hand into his making me stop pacing. "Tell me what happened, I'll protect you." He said. I shook my head no, I couldn't I'm a different person now.

"I'm not the same girl, and people are going to miss her, she was easy to trick and be killed, but I am not. I can not let the hunters attack my love ones to get to me." I said.

"Is that why you broke up with me? The Argents!" He yelled. "Amber, you need to stop pushing away people and ruin your happiness. The Argents will find out, but they will never hurt one of their own." He said. "I still love you." He said to me his forehead on mine. My breathe got caught into my throat and all I could is stay frozen. I wanted to kiss him and tell him how much I love him and tell him what happened, but I can't. There like this force in my body that wants to be with him, but the other part disagrees and want to keep him safe even if that's not with me. Isaac started leaning in when I snapped out of it.

"I'm sorry, I can't. I love you, but right now, what I've been through, I need time. Maybe we can be together after the Argents know, or maybe in the future. I'm sorry." I said.

"It's okay, I'll wait for you. I got to go though." He said and he left without another word.

A different nurse said I could leave after an hour since Isaac was here, and I left as quickly has I could. I opened my phone and I called my dad. "Hi dad, and this is your voice mail. Can I stay with you for awhile?" I hung up and kept walking to the woods. I'm not leaving. If the Argents found out they do. They would know sooner or later, and I can't keep it hidden forever. And I have enough power to protect myslef if I have to.

My phone goes off and I open it to see its from Scott.

To Amber: We know who the Kanima Master is, at police station hurry.

From the looks on how choppy it is I know he had to do it secretly. I turned into the Phoenix, and flew as sat as I could to the police station. I saw dad there and the Kanima and he got paralyzed and fell. I ran towards Jackson and grabbed by the arm and threw him down to the ground. Matt started shooting at me, but I dodged every bullet that came my way.

I garbbed Matt and threw him across the room. The Kanima came after me and I held my hand out and Jackson held his head and fell to the floor in pain. "Now Matt, I suggest you let everyone go now or I will kill you and your precious little Kanima." I growled at him.

"I wouldn't do that, if I where you." He said in a smug voice.

"And why wouldn't I?" I asked him. I left Jackson alone and walked right towards Matt.

"Those hunters will know exactly where you are in five minutes if you kill Jackson now. And this time you won't escape." He said, like he won. 

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"I want you to not use your little Phoniex powers and I want you to be on my side." He said and I just laughed at him.

"Your kidding right? Never, ever will I join you." I said and he looked at the Kanima and he paralyzed Stiles.

"Fine then." He said and stuck a syring in my throat and the toxin went into my system and I blacked out. Well I faked it. He put wolfsbane in my system not knowing the poison that could hurt me. Everyone but Mellisa and Sheriff knew I was faking. When they went to the other room I got up and sneaked into one of the corners. I walked into the room sheriff and Mellisa where. I told them to be quiet and I looked at where Matt was.

I followed Matt into another room and I garbbed a gun from one of the officers drawers. I loaded the gun and before I listen to Matt tell his story on how he almost died from drowning. I felt bad, honestly, but that's no excused for him to kill all of those people. I was about to shot him when the Kanima had his claws at my throat and made me walk right next to Matt. Matt continued the story like he knew I was there the whole time. Jacskons hold on my throat got tighter making me gasp. The lights went off and Jackson grip loosened and I dropped to the ground to avoid all of the bullets.  I hid under a desk with Scott and checked to make sure I didn't get hit with anything. I ran out of the room and he garbbed Stiles. I let them go first.

"You guys keep going I will stop him." I yelled. Before Scott could protest, I put my hand out and raised his body heat making it feel like he was on fire. He fell and I ran up to Scott and stiles.  "I bought us some time, but not a lot." I replied.

Scott left and I followed shortly behind him and I went a different way to find Derek. "Where the Kanima?" He asked me.

"I don't know, but Matt might be in holding cell room." I said.

"Follow me." He said and I ran after him into the holding cell room. Dad turned into wolf mood and I flicked my talons out and attacked the Kanima with Derek. I couldn't use my Phoniex powers since I might hurt Derek. I went to attack the Kanima only to get thrown over to Mellisa holding cell

Scott came over to me and helped me up and turned, freaking out his mom. "You need to leave with Derek. Alliosn not stable right now." He said.

"I want to help." I said.

"You helped so much, but Matt gone and so is the Kanmia, he's not here. Go before they find you guys please." He said. I sighed and me and Derek ran out of the police station has fast as we could. We did not stop until we got to the apparetement. "Amber, what was that back there?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" I said acting oblivious.  I knew he meant about my powers but it's a long story to tell, one that I'm to tired to do.

"Your powers, and don't act oblivious. You never knew how to do that before you left. What was that and what happened out there?" He asked me. I sighed I knew I had to tell him eventually, but he might think I'm crazy.

"I raised his body heat causing severe pain, but with his healing it kept happening again and again. Also I'm to tired to talk about it, and there is some stuff I don't want to say. Can I tell you later I'm tired." I said. He nodded his head and left.

I got into the shower and put on some shorts and an oversize tee-shirt. I went into bed dn fell asleep instantly.

I open my eyes to a dark room when all of a sudden a bright light filled the room. I felt a sting on my cheek when I woke up tp men in black ski masks. "Where am I?" I asked only to get slapped again, even harder.

"Where is she?" He asked. I looked at him confused.

"What the hell do you mean?" I asked him.

"Your mother Kate." He said.

"She's dead!" I yelled at him and I got punched in the stomach.

"Liar! And guess what we do with liars." He said looking at his friends and he turned the electricity wire the hung from the ceiling to my hands all the way up to the highest setting. I screamed in pain as he garbbed a knife and threw it into my side. I screamed even louder has it was filled with poison. He went to grab the knife and-

I woke up from Isaac shaking me when I realized I was screaming. I stopped as tears flowed down my face. "I'm sorry, it was a bad dream." I said to him. He sat on my bad and rubbed my back.

"It's okay, I get them all the time to." He said.

"Will you stay with me until I all asleep?" I asked him.

"Of course." He laid down on the pillow next to me and my he'd laid on his chest as he played with my hair.

"Goodnight." He said and I fell to sleep with no nightmares this time
