Chapter 2: School
(This necklace is going to have a purpose later on. Also in the pic it has to outfits I'm going to use the first one but if you don't like it pick another one.)
Today is the day I'm going to Allison's school. I woke up early and got in the shower. When I was done I blew dried my hair and looked through my clothes. I couldn't decided what to wear....
Someone knocked on the door. "Hey Amber, it's me." Allison said.
"Come in!" I said still looking at my clothes.
"Hey, Scott said he is going to pick us up." She said sitting on the end of my bed.
"Okay, thanks. I need your help. I need to look good on my first day and I don't know what to wear." I said.
"You sound like Lydia." I gave her a weird look. "You will see her soon she kinda running in the woods naked."
"What the hell?"
"She was bit by an alpha and we think she is turning." Allison said.
"Wow. Have you guys found her yet?"
"No, we haven't we are going to search tonight."
"Can I help?"
"I guess." she said unsure.
"Allison I'm not going to hurt someone. I might be Kate's daughter but I never killed a supernatural and I don't want to. Please trust me."
"I do. I promise. When are you going to tell me about the funeral? About you not being human?"
"Tonight in the woods." She nodded her head and stood up. She pulled out a red dress that has a pink jacket. (pic above)
"Wear this. Red seems like a really good color on you." I just laughed well it kinda does since I'm a Phoenix and all.
"Thanks." I went in the bathroom and changed. I put on some lip gloss, eye shadow, and mascara. I don't like a lot of make up.
I walked out and Allison was on her phone. "What do you think?" I asked. She looked at me and I did a spin.
She laughed and nodded her head. "We are going to walk a bit and Scott going to pick us up with his friend Stiles. Just tell my dad we are walking if he asks."
"Okay." we walked down stairs, and went into the Kitchen.
"Hey." we both said. Allison grabbed an apple. She sat down with the family and I say next to her.
"Grab whatever you like Amber." said Allison's mom.
"Thank you, but I'm not hungry I can't eat in the morning it makes me not feel well." she nodded her head understanding.
Once Alliosn was done we both left the kitchen. "Do you girls want a ride?"
"Actually Uncle Chris me and Allison wanted to walk and get to know each other. Thanks for the offer though we really appreciate it." I said he nodded his head and we walked down the street.
"Are you like a master at lying? Like you didn't hesitate or anything."
"Practice I guess. Me and my mom are close but I didn't tell her everything." I said. She nodded her head. We saw a blue Jeep and Allison went in. I followed after her.
"Stiles, Scott this is Amber, Kate's daughter." Scott and Stiles looked surprised and They both tensed up.
"Don't worry I won't kill you. Geez just because I'm her daughter doesn't mean I'm going to kill my cousins boyfriend. Also I don't kill supernaturals." I said. The both calmed down. I was playing with my necklace. I noticed Stiles kept looking at me.
"Does she know about Lydia?" Scott said.
"Yea she is going to help us and she is going to tell me why she is not -"
"A fan of killing supernaturals. It was a secret of mine that I haven't told anyone the reason, so I was going to tell her tonight. Also it's different cause I'm an Argent." I said cutting Allison off. She gave me a weird look and I have her a look that said 'Tell you later.'
I had different classes than Allison so I went to advanced math class. Yea I'm really good at math, it's weird.
After class I was in the hallway when I heard Scott, Stiles and Allison talking. I'm late so no one was around.
"Why did she cut you off?" Asked Scott.
"I don't know but She is going to tell me why she isn't human."
"Wait she is not human?" Stiles said seeming really surprised.
"No, she heard noises where you guys where at the funeral."
"Is it by chance that she is a werewolf?" Asked Scott.
"I don't think so...maybe."
"Maybe we can test her see if she is a werewolf or not." Stiles said looking at them both.
"That could work. Lets try at lunch. See you later." They soon left and I went into my chemistry class with Stiles.
*Lunch*
"Hey, Amber."
"Hey Scott, Allison and Stiles." I said smiling.
"So have you ever been out in the woods on a full moon?" Scott said.
"Yes."
"Have you ever got bit by an animal? Maybe a wolf?" Stiles said.
"Guys, I know what your plan is. I heard you. I'm not a werewolf. I guess it will be safer here to tell you now."
"What really? Your going to tell us?"
"Yes, But if you tell anyone you guys will be the first two people that I kill you hear me." I said looking at Scott and Stiles. I trust Allison so I was okay with her.
"I have a best friend that's a werewolf I think I can't handle it." Stiles said.
"I will keep the secret." Scott said.
"Same." Allison said.
"You, I'm fine with. I know you will keep it." I said point at Allison. She smiled and nodded.
"Alright you can't tell anyone in our family. Only my mom knew and she made me promise I won't tell anyone in the Argent family. Alright so my mom was pregnant with me and my father was a supernatural. I don't know who he is but he is not human. In the Argent family our blood is different so, if a werewolf for example, bite us we won't become a werewolf we will be something different. Well since my dad wasn't human I'm not either. I'm a Phoenix. We appear to be human but we aren't. Phoenix are very rare since we are hunted a lot. Phoenixes have the power to incinerate touch, meaning I can burn someone. Immortality, invulnerability, superhuman strength, healing, as shape shift to our natural form. Which is a bird like thing for us. If the Argents know they will kill me. This necklace is suppose to protect me. My mom said someone will recognize it and protect me. I haven't found that person yet." I said looking at my necklace.
"Thanks for telling us." Scott and Allison said.
"Wow! Your a Phoenix!" Stiles said. I just laughed and continued eating my sandwich.
