Ashton Irwin~ Garden
Y/N's POV
I walked along the stone path with my head facing towards the ground. I had just gotten over a break up yesterday, so I went out on a walk to try and clear my head
I looked up and saw this beautiful garden. A shimmering sunset in the background while vibrant light pink and purple clouds filled the sky. There was a small swing hanging from a sturdy tree branch in the middle of the garden. Over to the side was a small light blue and red tent for someone to hang around under and enjoy the shade
I opened up the white picket fence door and entered the garden. As soon as I did, however, I heard a door open. I dove into the bushes and waited for the sound of crunching grass. Instead, it was nothing
I slowly came out and saw a boy standing near the tent with his back facing me. When he turned back around towards my direction, he immediately saw me. He had light brown curly hair and hazel eyes. He wore a black tux with white dress shoes and, I have to admit, he did look hot, even if I didn't know him
"You.. Why are you here... No one is supposed to be here in my garden but me!" He quickly exclaimed with fear in his eyes
"I was on a walk?" I raised an eyebrow
"This garden is sacred, though. It's in my mind, my getaway. There is no possible way you could have gotten here." His mood suddenly changed from scared to suspicious
"How is it in your mind if I'm here again?" I chuckled
"I don't know how you got in here, but you need to leave." He growled
"And why is that? I'm not going to hurt you." I shook my head
"I don't care! I don't want anyone here!" He shouted
"Geez, grumpy pants. Calm your man boobs." I started to walk off. I looked past my shoulder to see his anger slowly being replaced by hurt
"W-wait," He stuttered, "I'm sorry, I'm just not used to having any friends." He called out to me
"Not used to?" I pondered
He sighed with a nod. "Everyone at school hates me. I'm the outcast."
"What school do you go to?" I turned back around to face him
"Eastwood High." He stated. Strange. I've never seen him before
"But that's my school." I claimed
"Are you friends with Derick?" He questioned. The school bully, of course
"Not in a million years!" I exclaimed
"Ally?" The school whore
"None of the popular kids. Do you know Emma and Catherine?" I asked
"Yeah." He nodded
"I'm friends with them. That's about it, though." I concluded
"I wish I had friends that would care about me." He casted his gaze down to the grass as the sunset disappeared and was being replaced by the snow coloured moon and midnight sky
"Tell you what. I'll find you tomorrow in the cafeteria and then we can chat." I winked
His head perked up and a giant smile crept onto his face. "Really?" He asked with excitement
I gave him a confirming nod
He squealed with delight while running towards me and capturing me in a giant hug. "Thank you." He whispered
"No problem." I chuckled with a smile
"I never did catch your name." He told me
"Y/L/N. Y/N Y/L/N." I chuckled
"I'm Ashton Irwin, nice to meet you, Y/N." There was now hope sparking in him, I can feel it. It's amazing how much one gesture can change a life
